I discovered this inn on a past trip visiting my son in college, it's about 4-5 blocks away from his school. Looked charming, so I checked it out further & decided to stay when moving him back in for the semester. My husband & I were originally to stay, but my son had a change of move-in plans & we... More

I just made a reservation and needed to make a few changes. The manager took care of everything with no questions asked. Their are four of us guys traveling for golf and a Red Sox game. The rooms only had one bed, which would have been a bit uncomfortable, so I made the request for two beds in each room.... More

This is a very nice Inn. It's walking distance to the T and close to the Museum of Fine Arts, which is another great place to go. The trip into the city is about 30 minutes and an easy do from here. It's also close to Dana Farber and other hospitals if you are going for that reason. The owners... More

My wife and I attended a wedding in June in Brookline and had the pleasure of staying at the Longwood Inn. Our room was very comfortable, better than many hotels. Our bed was comfortable and our bath was awesome. The staff was very helpful answering questions, especially about the trains and the numerous restaurants and shops around the area. The... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Longwood on and off for ten years. We have always found the service quite good and the facilities more than adequate for our needs. The experience we had on our most recent stay, however, makes me want to give one employee, Head of Housekeeping's/Lost and Found's Noah Gopin, TEN stars instead of... More

My wife and I stayed in this Inn for three nights while in Boston for a wedding. The rooms are clean and adequate. The rooms are small but the worst part was the mattress was horrible. Also the towels were small and of poor quality. The staff was not very friendly. We had a great time in Boston but the... More

I stayed in the Longwood Inn for 4 nights while attending a course in Harvard's School of Public Health. Its about a 20 minute pleasant walk to the campus. This is a lovely property with plenty of character. The lobby and sitting room have a gentleman's club atmosphere with wood paneling, comfy leather chairs and huge fire places. The bedroom... More

We chose the Longwood Inn because it was more reasonably priced than other nearby inns and hotels. It has much to recommend it, especially the free parking (essential in Brookline if you have a car). Our spacious room was on the second floor, facing the street, and although we kept the windows open, it wasn't noisy. The bathroom was nicely... More

This hotel has outstanding customer service. The sales manager named Bill and his associates Ms. Chevelle and Mr. Antonio were awesome. As our child has attended school in Boston, we have continously stayed at this hotel during each visit and everytime they make us feel like it is our last visit with them. They go above and beyond to accomodate... More

When I need to stay in the Coolidge Corner area my first choice is The Samuel Seward Inn. Unfortunately there were no rooms available. The Courtyard was also booked and I do not like the Holiday Inn. I had some trepidation about staying at the Longwood Inn based on some of the reviews, but its eemed to be the best... More

I sorry that nuds78 had an unsettling experience while checking in at the Longwood Inn. When guests stay here I want them to feel comfortable and at home. I feel that he was let down in this respect which is disappointing to me, regardless of whether he planned to stay repeatedly or just one night. I would like to respond... More
