This is an old-fashioned hotel near Coolidge Corner in Brookline, MA. Our son lives nearby and we have tried two other lodging options before staying here. We thought it a perfect location and lodging stay for our needs. It's an old-fashioned hotel with small room, comfortable bed and good amenities. Location an easy walk to Coolidge Corner & Beacon St... More

We stay here whenever in Brookline. Old world charm with clean, updated touches. Very comfortable, granite and tile bathrooms, sitting areas. Ten minute walk to Coolidge Corner for eating etc. Quite, parking, good value.

In town with mom for some appointments at one of the nearby hospitals. The hotel where we usually stay was booked. Came upon this inn and decided to call. The only room available was the apartment. So glad we stayed here! Our own very clean and comfortable kitchen and living room along with the private entrance took away the stress... More

The basic rule is that you get what you pay for. I stayed here for a little over a week with a friend while we were exploring the Boston area. The location was really quite good. It was an easy walk to the Green T line, which took us right to most of the areas we wanted to explore. We... More

Great location. We flew into Boston for business and decided to stay a night close to downtown for a quick trip into the city. Downtown rooms were pricey, so we took a gamble on this inexpensive property and I'm so glad we did! No, they don't serve breakfast, but there are so many restaurants within walking distance, who cares? We... More

The Longwood Inn is in a great, convenient, safe area. It is affordable based on average Boston standards. The rooms are well appointed, the mattresses are super comfortable, there is a full kitchen and 2 refrigerators for guest use. Very easy to bring your own things for breakfast and also very easy to make your dinner in the evening, Like... More

This was a very nice bed-and-breakfast. We stayed in the apartment and back very spacious loved our room. We walked from the bus system to the hotel. We also walked from the hotel to the bus station to go downtown Boston five minute walk each way. Trader Joe's at the end of the street was a nice grab some food... More

This is not your normal B&B, it is more like a B (bed). They do not serve breakfast. They have a common room where you brind and cook your own breakfast. I did not read nor informed of this until check in. You have to walk up hill a few block or drive to get breakfast. There is also a... More

My husband and I were there for 4 days while moving our daughter. We loved the inn! I wanted a reasonably priced hotel that was clean and didn't charge an arm and a leg for parking. The inn was $183/night and free parking! Great location, T stop a few blocks away and town was a few blocks in the opposite... More

My adult daughter and I stayed at the Longwood Inn for 5 nights in late July. Midway through our stay we arrived back at the Inn late one evening from a very long day at a local hospital visiting with a gravely ill family member only to find that our room had been invaded by an aggressive couple partying in... This unfortunate incident occurred due to the guests switching rooms and not being available to get the key to their new room during office hours. To accommodate the guest, their key was left in the lobby, which someone, who apparently thought the room was available, took. In 36 years of owning the property this had never happened and will not... More
