In terms of the rooms, location and cost, it's a fine place and deserves a higher rating. But the staff there woke us up early and was rude about it. We had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, but in the morning when we were sleeping a repairman came and knocked loudly on the door (I have no... more

We had a 6:30 a.m. out patient surgery scheduled and needed a last minute room. The staff were so helpful with directions, suggestions and wake up call. The room could use a little more light, but was equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, coffee, living room set up and a wonderfully comfortable king size bed. "Pet friendly" meant more than... more

Very clean hotel. Staff at check in was very friendly. Pets allowed at no extra charge. Only issue was the hotel offered no bottled water in the vending machine...or anywhere for that matter. Night staff was a teenager who wasn't helpful...but no biggie. I drank tap water with ice (just fine!) and went to bed on the pillow top mattress... more

We brought our little league softball team and their parents here for a week long tournament and found this to be a great spot! The staff is very friendly and accomodating, the rooms are very clean and updated and the common areas are inviting. The continental breakfast was a real pleaser and a huge time and money saver during our... more

Stayed here on a drive to California. The hotel is easy to get to from I-5, has easy parking, very friendly staff and, most importantly, nice rooms with lots of space and welcomes dogs of all sizes. I was very pleased with the accomodations, found it to be a great value. more

My teenage son & I stayed here for the Vancouver Kumoricon (anime convention) for one night. In it's class, I think it's great. Right off I-5, about 7 minutes N. of downtown Vancouver. Sort of "Mission/Craftsman Lite" architecture, which makes a nice change from the usual woodgrain-veneer people-box. Exceptionally friendly staff. Clean. Our unit, especially the bathroom was up-to-date and... more

My wife, daughter and I stay at RLSC at least 3 times per year over the past several years – even before it became a Red Lion Hotel. I am an IT Network Engineer and my wife is a Financial VP of a local banking institution based in Seattle. RLSC is our favorite Hotel in the Vancouver area. The property... more

I traveled to Vancouver, WA to attend an education class. The hotel was located about 5 minutes from the venue. I was traveling alone for the first time, staying two nights. Upon checking in I asked about the safety of my car, since the hotel was located right on I-5, and was assured they have never had a problem. The... more

I needed a decent hotel in the Vancouver, WA area for a couple of days on business travel. Based on reviews on this site and others, I decided to try out the Red Lion at Salmon Creek. I've never stayed at any other Red Lion properties, so I didn't have any preconceived expectations. I found this property to be quite... more
