We've stayed at Phoenix Inn probably over a dozen times totalling several months over the last few years. We keep coming back because we usually pay about $60 a night for a solid 3-star hotel in a perfect location for us. Phoenix Inn includes a very nice free buffet breakfast with waffles and sausage biscuits, biscuits and gravy, etc -... more

Booked a stay here through Hotwire, got a smokin' deal and ended up staying here on my return trip because of the experiences of the first stay! The whole place is very clean and well kept. I stayed here for 4 nights (wed-sunday). Upon check in the person behind the desk was alone and totally overrun with phone calls, people in line, etc. I felt sorry for him but he continued to be polite and apologetic for the wait. My room was wonderful EXCEPT it smelled of stale smoke. All rooms are supposed to be smoke... more
