We spent a week in the Portland area and stayed here. This is the older-type Residence Inn with the separate buildings, which we prefer because the suites are a bit bigger, there's a fireplace even in the studio suites, and there's a full oven in the kitchen and not just burners. Our family stayed here and had lots of space... more

The smell when we entered the room was that of fresh broccoli. This was quite repulsive and the last thing I wanted after driving 12 hours to get here. It was interesting because this was one of the worst smelling hotel rooms I have ever had. On the same trip I stayed in a Fairfield in Burlington and it was... more

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn in Vancouver, near the mall. The location is so-so, suburban with malls and chain restaurants nearby, but, if you look around, you'll find some that are excellent, like the Thai place next door, or Hudsons Bar and Grill. The staff at this hotel was exceptional. Kudos to our housekeeper, who was just remarkable,... more

I needed to be somewhere centrally located because I have family in Vancouver and did not really pay attention to the type of hotel I was getting. The amenities and space in my room were very nice. The front desk staff was polite and efficient and my room was spotless and quiet! I will definitely be staying here again when... more

We booked this for one night on our way to Disneyland and we're very happy with it. If you noticed I used the present tense, it's because I'm writing this review on my Iphone in our room on the excellent free wi-fi! We have a large studio room with a king size bed and a sofa bed, there's a full... more

We went to Vancouver for an overnight trip to visit family in Sept 08. We needed a hotel with a bedroom as we were traveling with kids. Trying to find a hotel in Vancouver that had bedrooms was impossible. This was our only option unless we wanted to be in Portland. I have stayed at Residence Inns many times. This... more

Excellent hotel. Although this is an older Residence Inn, the rooms are spacious, clean, and attractively decorated. There are better Residence Inns in Portland, but if you are looking for a great value in Vancouver, then this is it. The breakfast is a nice touch too. Downtown RI has a nicer buffet, but then again you don't have to pay... more

This is a great, clean, spacious, typical Residence Inn. It is off the major highways, with gas/food/shopping right down the street. It is perfect for a one-night stay or extended stay..they have several washers/dryers. The free breakfast will suffice, with hot and cold food choices. You can't go wrong with this hotel. I would not recommend the Azteca Mexican restaurant... more
