The room was small and we were able to hear conversations from the next room late into the evening and we were woken up at 5:30 in the morning by individuals talking in the next room. They key room entry cards did not work well. This is very frustrating when your arms are full with luggage and you must try... More

The room was tiny. The bathroom was so small it was hard to move around. The walls are paper thin. We could here people talking a 2:00 AM in the next room. The room service menu said "from a snack to a full romantic dinner in your room". The most romantic thing on the menu was BLT. The view was... More

my room faced the road construction going on. the sound of the road graders and heavy equipment went right through the heating unit making being in the room unbearable during the day. why a hotel would put guests on this side of the hotel when there are plenty of rooms available on other sides is beyond me. when I complained... This is an old, dated property that is showing its age. However the room was clean and looks as though it was recently updated. The view from the river view rooms is very nice. The staff were very friendly. The hotel has bicycles available for guests to use, which is a cool touch. Not the most comfortable bed I've slept... More

For the price, it's a very good room. The wallpaper is peeling a little and the paint in the bathroom is a little chipped, but it was quiet, clean, and functional. The room came with free wi-fi, in-room coffee, and a flat-screen TV. All functioned well. The bed was comfortable, although the pillow was a bit thick. I'd definitely stay... More

Had a room with a view of the river and loved waking up to that view every morning. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Check in folks were great! Downfalls: when I visited there was some major construction in the parking lot, made parking and navigating difficult. Restaurant was very expensive and you had to travel a little ways... More

My first impression of the hotel was that it was well past its prime. It turns out that my intuition was correct given that it's slated for demolition and the chain has not been willing to invest in upgrades. The hotel is quite expensive and a poor value for the money.

We have stayed at this hotel before, and have always been very satisfied. The gentleman on the front desk was nice, professional and very helpful. The only problem we had, was finding the place. There was construction going on, and the detour was very misleading.

We're a retired couple who stayed here on a Sunday night in March, as part of a long car trip. We really enjoyed the location, right on the Columbia River. Before dinner, we hiked a couple of miles up and down the river walkway and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the interesting signs about the history of the area. Then... More

First visit to Portland and we didn't want to stay in some high-rise chain hotel. Found this little gem right on the bank of the Columbia River and enjoyed the heck out of it. It's only a few miles from downtown Portland, which is easy to get to via Uber or public transit, and is a block away from downtown... More
