Average to below. This estimated 50 year old property is showing its age. The attached Denny's provides some redemption which brought my review up to 'average'. OK for a business trip tight budget, but I would not put family or a friend here.

A week prior to my stay, I reserved one room. When I arrived, they told me I booked two rooms. Turns out they charged me for an extra room. They told me I should've canceled my reservation. Now how am I supposed to cancel a room I had no knowledge of!? Also, the room smelled gross, it needed some repairs,... More

Visited, along with others, for a funeral in the area. One guest was locked out of his room because they only had him for one night. Instead of apologizing and fixing the error (they never heard of the customer is always right), they gave him a hard time. The other guests were given a hard time on the phone when... More

Decent location, cheap rooms and that's about it. The rooms are decent - nothing flash, some tiles broken, needs some updates but hey, for the price you're paying what else is to be expected. Tip: Do NOT go into the Denny's next door at night... It's the after-party-drunk-need-food hot spot. Smells like vomit and service is terrible. We were seated-... More

I tried canceling my hotel room due to a change in business travel and was charged anyways. I was told that I did not make the 6:00 pm deadline which was stated nowhere on my confirmation. The only cancelation note was in order to avoid charges cancelations must be received 24 hours in advance which is what I did. When... More

Okay this not a great place but it is not a 5 star either. The decor is old and dated but since the plan is to shower and sleep we didn't care about decor. It was a comfortable room and clean. We always look under the mattress too and it was bug free and clean. The shower was also hot.... More

I hate having to check every item on the bill at check out and this property is now on my Do not return list just for this! We checked in and the manager with an foreign accent said something unintelligible about movies. It being late and me tired, it was recipe for not understanding what was happening - a disclaimer... The not so good: No breakfast, older hotel so don't expect much--well worn on the outside The good: The room was comfortable and clean-even under chair cushions, looks like a new mattress & comforter, internet worked well, Denny's on property

My two friends and I checked in at this quality Inn in Rome New York for a Saturday night stay we were going to a convention at the nearby turning Stone Casino. The manager/owner was extremely rude. Stayed for two nights. Manager is extremely rude. Took 30 minutes for us to check in by ourselves, no one else there & they attempted to charge us double. When checking out, took over 45 minutes. Different manager very rude to us and other patrons. Tried to charge everyone for PPV movies that no one ordered. Tried to charge our... More
