We had stayed here some years ago, then decided to use another hotel because the bathroom ceiling was falling in. In recent years, they have been working hard at refurbishing the place, with great results, as we found when we returned there this year. New carpeting, new ceilings, new paint, new bedding, new TV, new AC/Heating. A greatly improved offering... More

We stayed here recently to attend the CapitolFest and the room was clean, neat and very reasonable. Two doors - one opened onto the courtyard and the pool, the other accessed the interior hallway. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. My only negative observation was the bathroom could have used some tweaks. It was very clean and... More

The foyer was marble, the bathroom ceramic, nicely furnished and awesome comfortable king size bed. Only complaints would be closeness of other bathroom with no soundproofing. Hated to hear a man hacking etc like he was in the room with me! Ugh! Also the vent in bathroom allowed sounds from another room to be clearly heard in bathroom. Good news,... More

First off, this is an old property that has been repurposed. I don't have any problem with that if it saves me money. I was looking for a decent hotel for 1 night, close to the highway (my error not theirs) and close to restaurants. Although it seems the hotel is not near 90, turns out it isn't really all... More

After reading past reviews, I was wondering if I should stay here. But with no other clear options, my wife and I checked in for a one night stay. Wow! What a surprise. The room looked brand new. Very clean, nice decor, comfortable bed. I had a problem with the Internet password and never was able to log on but... More

This is one case where you get what you pay for. The front desk staff spoke little English. Apparently the housekeeping staff is not familiar wih the language either. Both mornings we were there we had the do not disturb sign hanging from our door. Both mornings we were awakened to the housekeeping staff trying to open the door. I... More

The Hotel deserves 0 it is old it is in disrepair. Airconditioner didn't work had to fight to get a refund after telling managment the AC didn't work, which in turn cause the room to smell. Also paint fumes as they were trying to put some lipstick on this relic that really should be torn down and something more habitable... More

While the rooms are not newly remodeled I found this an excellent place to stay. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are clean. The Denny's is attached making it easy to get food quickly and a Walgreen's and JCPenney in easy walking distance. Luxury it is not, but very serviceable.

Stayed one night while in town for the Boilermaker. Room was decent and clean. Had a fridge and microwave. Fridge was good sized but precariously placed on a wooden platform. Tipped it forward trying to open it. Very small bathroom. Sink area outside which actually works well. Outdoor pool was nice but had to use the towels from our room.... More
