Just stayed at the hotel, the front desk poorly functions, research the area first cause they are not sure what is around there. Staff was fantastic. Very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant has a great breakfast buffet and a la carte. Dinner is a little short on selections but very good. It's location is within walking distance of historic sites, other restaurants and small shops.

I arrived and it was warm during the day, 60-70is. the A/C in the room worked great. during that week the temps dropped into the 40's and into the 30's at night. apparently this hotel uses a chiller setup and a boiler setup to heat and cool the rooms and changes from one to the other have to be made... This Holiday Inn is more than likely one of the most well maintained and staffed of any of the chain's properties. The location is excellent for walking to nearby shops and restaurants. I've stayed here several times for business. As a guest, you have no control over whether you have heat or air conditioning - if you need it switched, you have to call the front desk. They will send maintenance to your room to remove a panel in the ceiling, fiddle around with some controls, and hopefully get it switched over... More

Room was not vacuumed. Toe nails and food on the floor when we arrived. The hotel did compensate us $10 a night. The pool area was unkept. The sauna was broken there was a sheet hung over a door the said "keep out".
