This hotel was a great value. The location was within walking distance to so many attractions. The hot breakfast was great... lots of choices. The cookies and drinks in the lobby in the evening were nice and the kids loved it. Rooms were clean and a good size. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

The location is good for the value. Several blocks away from main downtown attractions, but still doable in walking. Parking situation is awful. The lot is too small, so you have to park in a deck across the street and down a block. The staff seemed bothered when dealing with customers. Overall, it's clean and has the expected breakfast buffet,... More

This Hampton is located near everthing w/ a reasonable rate. Good choice if you want a well maintained property w/ a very nice lobby and breakfast area. The biggest drawback, which is the same at all downtown hotels, is the cost of parking. But once you park, you can walk or catch the pedi-cabs and get to it all.

My kids and I stayed there for one night and left early the next morning. The hotel was nicely kept and the lobby was inviting and bright. We visited the pool on the rooftop and saw breathtaking views of the historic section. The room was very large and quite comfortable. Our room overlooked Bay Street and we were able to... More

The location is perfect! It is only 1 block away from River Street. The staff was all wonderful! The room was excellent. Unfortunately we were only staying there for one night because my husband had to attend a conference at another hotel. I love the fact that the rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable... More

Third trip to Savannah and third stay at this Hampton Inn. The location is perfect. Right in the historic district and across from River Street. Lobby and outside seating area are great. Lots of historic charm. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is super. Feels like Savannah!

If you are not traveling with children, this is NOT the place for you! The noise level is deafening, great for families with child of all ages. Cut our stay short, very disappointed, wish I coulod be more positive.

We arrived at the hotel and had to wait for check in. Coffee was there for us and a lovely reception. We first met Beverley then. What a wonderfully friendly and happy person. She made you feel right at home. To be fair all the staff were friendly and professional and so helpful. There were a couple of very small... More

Experience was very good and the staff is very accommodating. The hotel is ideally located in the historic district and only a block from the Savannah River. There's valet parking but there's also a parking garage across the street providing an excellent parking alternative.
