We spent a rainy weekend and had a great stay. The Inn is close to everything and the staff was wonderful. A nice surprise was the umbrella in the room. It was raining hard and we had not brought an umbrella and wala! The room was large and clean and the bathrooms spotless. We have stayed at several historic Inns... More

We were looking for a place near the river and came across this. I didn't have high expectations based on some of the other reviews but needed up being pleasantly surprised. When I went to check in at 3:30 I was told the room wasn't ready and to go ahead and park the car in the lot and then check... More

Great historic Inn. My husband and I have stayed at many historic Inns and have often found them a bit noisy, with this being the exception. Very quiet, comfortable, and clean. It is perfectly located so most everything is in walking distance. We definitely recommend this place.

A quaint historic hotel in an old cotton warehouse. Loaded with quirky charm. Our king room with a river view was huge. A bit musty (my daughter said she felt like she was staying in a museum) but comfortable and the view of River Street was amazing. We were a bit disappointed in the balcony though. We had envisioned sitting... More

This is a quaint historic hotel on River Street. Complimentary wine/app welcome that is worth going to! Our room had a river view. Smallish room with original brick from cotton trade days throughout the building. Our room had no desk so this might not be the place for you if you need an area for work. The room did have... More

2nd year in a row of spending a few days at the River Street Inn. 2nd year in a row of being upgraded to a better room than we had booked...and that is a biggie. We arrived on a rainy Thursday and the bellhop, Steven, was right there to help us with the bags. We had spoken to the front... More

It's a historic, older hotel. Rooms had a lot of character. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Location was great because it's right on the riverfront. I deducted one star because although maintained okay, the hotel could use a bit of refresh. Also the walls were pretty thin.

The woman who checked us in and the bell hop were both above and beyond. I have never had service like that anywhere. They were very helpful and extremely cordial. I would stay there again....and again.

We May Never Stay Anyplace Else in Savannah! Why would we?! Great Location, Great View, Great Room, Great Hospitality Hour, Wonderful Staff! I can't believe the rate we got for a king bed room (which was very large including a large bathroom that a lot of 150 year hotels do not have) all well appointed with a view of the... More

Driving down to Florida decided on an overnight stay in Savannah. After researching the many choices of hotels I decided on the Ricer Street Inn. We arrived in the middle of a rainstorm. The staff was most accommodating in allowing us to check in early, bring our belongings up to the room before heading over to the parking garage across... More
