This is a very nice hotel. The general staff, maids, wait staff etc. are wonderful...but the front desk staff is terribly under-trained. They ran my credit card wrong three times!! Our stay at the Mulberry Inn/HI was terrific. Nice location, friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms. We especially enjoyed the daily tea and pianist, David Duckworth's entertainment after a full day of sightseeing and walking the town. The staff was friendly and helpful and quite knowledgeable about the area. I enjoyed the (free) afternoon tea, with finger pastries and cookies and an excellent pianist. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of historic Savannah. The gym is small but the equipment was well maintained. The room was elegant and quiet. more
