I was debating between The Mulberry and The Inn at Ellis Square and chose The Mulberry because it looked more charming and "Southern" with the courtyard. The rooms were very clean and updated with new bath fixtures (in process of completing as of June) Flat Panel Televisions and new carpeting. The rooms were a bit small compared to some newer... more

We stayed three nights at the Mulberry. The hotel has an attractive lobby and the staff was gracious and helpful. It's definitely an older hotel, but it kind of goes along with being in Savannah. Parking across the street was very convenient. Breakfast is not included but they offer a full buffet and you can also order from the menu,... more

ok so they have free parking..that doesnt make up for the fact that their parking garage has so security or cameras and last weekend there were 10 cars broken into in the garage. Bad location (once it gets dark) The hotel takes no responsibility for the car break -ins. more

The Mulberry Inn is located in the Historic District and is widely recogonized for its desirable location and charming staff. The unfortunate incidents reported in this review were isolated and the work of a group of individuals who randomly selected the Mulberry parking garage. By no means is the Mulberry in an unsafe location and has never been the victim of...

My wife and I stayed two nights at Mulberry Inn in early May 2009. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Hotel is well located, not quite central, but close enough to make it possible to do downtown Savannah on foot and parking is free. Our room was spacious and well appointed. One table lamp had a faulty switch which... more

Our room was spacious and charming. Everything seemed well cared for. The complimentary afternoon tea was a nice touch. We liked the hotel location and would definitely stay here again. more

We LOVE the Mulberry Inn. Each time we come the staff has been pleasant and very accommodating. On the second return visit we were not pleased with our room location. I went down to the services desk and immediately was moved to another room with no questions On one trip to Savannah we stayed across the street on the riverfront.... more

Booked an executive room and we were upgraded to a suite. The room had a view of Bay st. and the river. Iwas a little concerned about traffic noise but not an issue during the night. We had a great time walking all the squares around Savannah. more

My initial reaction on entering the room was - this is small!  Followed a nanosecond later by an overwhelming smell of mildew in both the room and the bathroom.  I found that if I put the A/C on full blast it alleviated the smell somewhat, of course then we froze.  Since we only had time to change before leaving for... more

We really didn't know what to expect of this hotel, as had always thought of Holiday Inn as not the greatest place to stay in the past, but if this place is any indication of how they are these days, we will start booking with them more often. We picked this based on other reviews and photos, and are very... more

We stayed in a lovely suite on the third floor, room 356. This was the second time we stayed at the Mulberry. We had a number of strange things occur this time around, nothing out of the ordinary the last time. The first night we awoke at 3:30 in the morning to the sound of someone playing celtic music on... more
