My husband and I booked a romance package weekend. Upon arrival, there was champagne and balloons in our room. Also received a $50 dinner certificate with 5 restaurants to choose from. Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything within walking distance except Bonaventure cemetary. Requested a quiet room and was given a room at the end of a private hall (#423).... more

I'm writing now from the Marshall, where I was able to sleep for only a few hours, thanks to the incessent loud rumbling caused, say the people at the front desk, by the ice machine,.This isn't people getting ice; it's a systemic sound that floods room 210 and is more akin to, say, twenty air conditioners all starting up at... more

We stayed at the Marshall House the last two nights in Feb. 2008. The hotel is charming, and the complimentary breakfast is very good. The hotel is in a central location good for walking in the city. The room was pretty but very small, and the old doors which are original let in a lot of noise from the hall. I'd... more

We stayed at the Marshall House during a getaway weekend and absolutely loved this place. The staff was exceptional and very friendly. We stumbled across the hotel website when our first choice was already booked out for the weekend. Luckily, we ended up with a better hotel. We arrived late afternoon on a Friday ... our car was valet parked... more

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in order to tour the historic district. Overall, the hotel provided a positive experience. We had a double queen room on the 4th floor in the back of the hotel. Originally, I was concerned about the noise levels on busy Broughton St but being in the back was great - very... more

We learned about the Marshall House from a program on the Travel Channel. Upon arriving, it was just as it was explained on the program - great! Staff was very prompt and friendly, our room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Within easy walking distance to River Street and any of the beautiful squares in Savannah. The only downside... more

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Our room was quite small but quaint. All rooms have just been renovated, so everything looked very clean and fresh. Mon. - Thurs. they offer a complimentary wine and cheese reception in the evening. A lovely breakfast is included. Must use valet parking. more

The Marshall house is beautiful, charming and in some ways a nice place to stay. The valet/bell service is very good; prompt, friendly and polite. The front desk staff is helpful, but not always the most friendly bunch. Our room was lovely, but VERY small. I found the bed to be very comfortable, the linens nice and very clean as... more

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Marshall House and absolutely loved it. Our room was beautiful and modern while still keeping all of the charms of such an old building. One of the reasons we were drawn to the hotel was it's history with the supernatural. Our last night there we did hear what sounded like a... more

This place is great. We got into Savannah at around 4:00 AM and were given a room for the night. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The "library/study" is cozy and the entire place is nicely decorated. It's also on a really nice street with a Starbucks near by. Free internet access was great! more
