My wife and I visited Savannah a few weeks ago for our mini-honeymoon, just a few days long. We stayed just 3 nights to get away from the big city and take in some of the sites. When we decided to take a short honey moon to Savannah, we really wanted a quiet B&B. This place ranked high on Trip... More

I really can't say enough about The Marshall House. From the moment our taxi drove up to the front of the building and our bags were carried inside we were treated like family. The building is beautiful and our bed was so comfortable. Every staff member was attentive and friendly and the doors were opened up for us every time... More

We loved the Wine and Cheese hour! My 80 yr old mother, my sister, my daughter and I would sit in the library and play cards during this time on one of the tables. Very relaxing! I would stay there again, but, our room the 1st 3 nights did have a ghostly visitor!, but the 2nd room, did not. Be... More

Recently stayed at the Marshall House for two days. Hotel is older (don't expect modern here) but that is what makes it unique. Front desk personnel and door men are very friendly and helpful. We had a KIng Deluxe room on the 3rd floor. Elevator is very small but you can walk up the stairs to your room. The hotel... More

We stayed for two nights and booked at the Tourist Information in Savannah. We enjoyed our stay the hotel is well placed for walking to resturants and down to the waterfront. Our room was good looking over atrium on the third floor. The only drawback was it also was near a multi-storey car park which had the lights on all... More

We stayed at the Marshall House in late Sept. for two nights. I loved the look of it from their website and we weren't disappointed. It is like stepping into the Civil War era but with modern conveniences. The lobby is quaint and they serve wine and cheese there every day at 5:00 pm. Our room again was the best... More

This hotel has a great location, as one does not need a car after arrival. The front desk staff were upbeat, helpful, and awesome; and the buffet breakfasts were very good. For me the downside to the place is that it used to be a historical war hospital, and still had what seemed to be the original wooden floors, wooden... More

Breakfast is a good selection of quality fresh fruits pastries cereals juices etc. there is nearby public car park if you don't want to pay $20 a day valet parking.... More

I keep my expectations in check when I stay in historic buildings. This one had all of the curb appeal of the photos. The lobby and front desk were staffed by friendly, helpful employees. The lobby was well used and guests lounged there at all hours which speaks to the comfort and homey feeling. My bags went up to the... More

We thought the hotel was quaint and you could almost feel the history. It is quite pretty and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Two things bothered us: the noise from the street (where our room faced) and that our shower had very low flow from the shower head. The bed was comfortable, and it's probable that had we... More
