I really wanted to stay at The Marshall House and was thrilled to get a good deal on the room rate at the last minute. The desk staff was super helpful and our fourth floor room was superb. We had a little difficulty with our keys which was swiftly corrected. Our room, 410, was absolutely charming. We arrived in time... More

The entire staff of this hotel is very friendly, warm and inviting. I wish I could mention them all by name, but I will say that the attention to detail given by the team here is exceptional. Jasmine made excellent recommendations for dinner and tours and her overall demeanor is ebullient and lively. The room was clean and tidy, with... More

the people behind the desk were fantastic at helping us in every way. They suggested places to eat, tours we could consider, best times to see anything. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I loved the idea of the age of the place and the things it might have been witness to.

We were welcomed by the fantastic front desk team - Jasmine and Joseph, who wowed us each evening with their restaurant recommendations, help with reservations, and stories of hotel hauntings. Their friendly greetings made us feel at home upon our return each evening from our Savannah wanderings. The wine and cheese hour was a great time to meet other guests,... More

We stayed two nights in a petite queen room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and tasteful, with small details like a wooden cabinet encasing the in-room fridge. It was a bit of a tight squeeze with our stroller and pack n' play, but the size was indicated by the room title and reflected in the price,... More

We arrived during the wine & cheese hour, so the staff parked our car and took our bags to the room so we could enjoy the cocktail hour. Lobby and rooms are done with historical charm and everything is very clean. Centrally located, walk to all.

We had the best greeting at a hotel desk that we have ever had. We left our car in the hands of the courteous valet. We were taken to our historic room. We loved every creak and groan of the reputedly haunted hotel. We want to go back, stay there, and have more time to explore historic Savannah, the fort... More

The Marshall house has a great location in the historic district and has the best employees of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The interior is beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a suite and it was huge! The bed was very comfortable for us.. I have had nine surgeries on my spine and a... More

We could not have been more pleased. Easy walk to the riverfront and most restaurants and shops. The hotel has the feel (no ghosts seen or heard - sorry) of a 19th century hotel - which it is. This Savannah hotel is one of the few that was purpose - built before the civil war to be a hotel. The... More

The food was great, the service was outstanding. The Marshall House is beautiful inside and out. The rooms were great-Wife and I stayed in a Petite Queen. The room was very clean and looked great - from the fireplace to the original wood floors, definitely beat any of the hotels we have stayed in thus far. The staff is always... More

The Marshall House. Originally built as the first hotel in our fair city, this is one of the most unique boutique hotels in Savannah. Offering 68 guest rooms and a perfect downtown location on Broughton Street, The Marshall House is ideally situated right in the heart of Savannah's historic district. Coastal Living magazine named The Marshall House among its top 20 favorite lodgings, and the Travel Channel featured The Marshall House on its "Great Hotels" program. Original windows, pinewood floors and claw-foot tubs in some rooms are among the charming attributes that make The Marshall House one of the most popular Savannah historic inns. Guests especially enjoy the suite that opens onto a classic wrought-iron veranda complete with rocking chairs and ceiling fans.
