Got a smoking deal on Hotwire for this hotel, so rating it at a way cheaper price. Could NOT beat location, walked all over town. Was offered an upgrade to river side but declined and view from our room facing city was very pretty. Loved the lobby, pool was underwhelming. Rooms were nice, not generic (like felt we were in... I paid extra for a 'river view with balcony" room. The view was nice, the balcony was covered in pigeon droppings. The staff seemed very indifferent, not rude, just couldn't care less. Location was good, room was average in size. Overall not a bad experience but definitely "just average" even by large chain standards.

Nice location, clean foyer, great staff. Room was older, musky, dusty and the bathroom smelled. Overall, a decent experience. I would recommend staying somewhere near bay street that is nicer and new.

August 25-29, 2014, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Savannah and attended a Professional Conference conducted there at the hotel. The Conference Facilities and staff services provided, ranged from technical assistance for meeting rooms, refreshments and snacks, full banquet lunches and breakfast were outstanding. The central location of the hotel is at the very center of all the Historic Savannah... More

Arrived on Saturday 8/30/14 for a wedding on Sunday. No rooms were ready for any of the party. Front desk staff very overwhelmed. Some people got rooms at half price due to; we got a free breakfast. TV system is the most antiquated I've seen in a while. No HD and moving around channels is difficult. Not a very good... More

I just returned from a business stay at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. The hotel is central to everything in the historic district of Savannah. The staff was very professional and first class, what I've grown accustomed to over the decades with Hyatt. The rooms are out of date, and look like 30 years ago. That's not the employees fault, and... More

Stayed here on my way to another resort and was very impressed. The hotel is in a prime location and the staff is extremely welcoming. I would definately stay here again. The hotel is a bit aged but it goes with the city ambiance. The guest room walls are extremely thin; I was unfortunate to have a rude and inconsiderate... More

I've been staying here once a year the last nine years for a work conference. This year was their cleanest and friendliest. The bar and breakfast restaurant's food has improved too. The AC wasn't working very well on our side (460) but other co-workers said on 300 level theirs had trouble too. I don't know if it's an entire building... More

This is a magnificent hotel. The lobby is stunning with top notch security. You need to use your room key to access the elevators which is a wonderful added feature. The rooms are nicely decorated. Our room overlooked Bay Street which is bustling with tourists, shops and restaurants. The the opposite side or North side rooms face the river. There... More

The location is very good with easy access to River Street and upper areas. Seems secure with card access from River Street. Valet parking was $24/day but easy to get vehicle when we needed to head out for a bit. They said they were sold out so could not get king bed and the A/C never really cooled down the... More
