I wish I would have read the reviews before staying at this property. I traveled two days via Greyhound bus from Maine to spend the weekend with my husband who is stationed in Savannah at HAAF. We checked in on a Friday and ordered pizza while we watched a movie. When we got up and turned the lights on to... more

The hotel was awful. we were supposed to be in a king, the bed was only a full size and had fried chicken crumbs in the sheets. the sheets were crumpled. you could tell that someone had just thrown a comforter on the bed and went on their way. there was trash in the trash cans. and no hot water.... more

Rooms are not cheap in Savannah. So this location is definitely a compromise. We stayed at this place for 2 nites and after ALL THE TAXES ($12 per night) it was $70 per night. The good thing is it's a straight shot out of the historic district on Oglethorpe. If you are going to the historic district during the day... more

As soon as you walk in the room the mildew smell will knock you down! When we moved our bath mat we saw black mildew in the shape of our bath mat! The beds were as hard as a rock! The staff was nice and did come and give us extra towels. But over all I say don't waste your... more

I was apprehensive to book an Econo Lodge but the rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the price great. The building did show signs of aging but the wireless internet worked and I always felt safe. The close proximity to an air-force base and their flights arriving/departing at tree-top levels from 8:00 AM to midnight was truly inconvenient !... more

One of our only two bath towels was stained with little curly hairs stuck all over it. I was afraid it hadn't been washed! The bathroom ceiling was badly peeling. We only had two thin pillows on our queen bed. No clock. more

The staff was very nice and we didn't have to wait to be checked in, however, the first room we went too had wet towels on the bathroom floor, an open half gallon of Orange Juice on the table and the beds had not been made. We were moved to another room. The room was clean but very old, in... more

We stayed here in July 2005. Located at 7500 Abercorn (phone: --------), it is a straight shot & short trip to the historic district. Away from the historic district, the price is much lower. This is a "bare bones" motel but clean. It worked for us! more

We stayed at his hotel for 2 nights during August 2004. We were attracted to the Econo Lodge purely for the price - even though we gathered the place wouldn't be in the best of condition. We found the staff to be quite pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself is extremely dated, although the room we had was clean and... more
