Exhausted, rumpled, hot, and tired is how I must have appeared to Charles when I was flipping through possible restaurants the night of the 4th. He quickly asked what my family and I were looking for by way of dinner. I really did not care. Somewhere cool, near the historic district,, and really good food were my only priorities. Charles... more

The reviews I read on this website are pretty accurate for this hotel. It IS vrey clean, the staff IS very helpful and the water pressure in the shower IS low...BUT! My 15 year old daughter figured out how to fix the water pressure! There is an adjustment to the right of the shower head, turn that (wing nut looking)... more

I stay in many Marriott properties on a regular basis. This Courtyard is as nice as the nicest of them. Special shout out to Ricky at the front desk for his help--when my friend and I arrived, there were no adjoining rooms as we had requested. Ricky got his manager right on the case, with a great resolution: free upgrade... more

It wasn't quite as nice as the two other Courtyard Marriotts I've stayed at, but it was very nice altogether. The room was fine, nice free internet access in the lobby, friendly staff. The pool was great, spent part of a very relaxing afternoon out there. It could just use a little updating as far as the elevator and decor,... more

I won a bid off Priceline and this is the hotel that was chosen. It was a great stay. The room was immaculate from the sink, bathroom and living room/bedroom combo. The best was a king size and the sheets were crisp and soft. After a long day of hangin out at the beach or riverfront, it was so wonderful... more

NEVER stay at the Courtyard Marriot in midtown Savannah. I stayed there recently with my family and not only did they charge my card for an "accidental" fee (only supposed to be $20) they also have charged my card two other times for $300 and $291.54....oh and two of my other family members were the ones who actually paid for... more

I chose this hotel to house 13 families and kids for a local soccer tournament. This hotel was conveniently located 2 miles from the tournament soccer fields on our venue. Conveniently located 1.5 miles from a mall which was perfect for group dining on the fly between games. Many restaurants within very short driving distance, some even with walking distance.... more

We stayed here on our way to Miami in order to see historic Savannah. The hotel is about 8 miles from the historic district but noticeably cheaper than hotels in that area. The hotel is on one of those strips with various hotel chains and places like Denny's. Check in was efficient if a little brusque. The room was perfectly... more

After being evacuated from our home because of the rising Altamaha River, my husband and I stayed at the Courtyard. When we checked in everything seemed nice. The room was clean. We took a nap and a couple of hours after we checked in, we woke up suddenly because of a burning smell. My first thought was that the hotel... more

The cons: The property was older than expected and our floor reaked like smoke apon arrival (even though it was a fully non-smoking hotel). The room did have a slight mold smell and there were smudges on the doors, walls and in the bathrooms which made me question the cleanliness of the room. My recommendation: If you are a typical... more
