Was leery about staying at this hotel after reading some of the reviews. Especially the review of having no hot water. We stayed in this hotel May 31 - June 2, 2009. We did have hot water and overall the experience was pretty good due to the price. Even though we had to ask for extra towels each night, the... more

We switched to this hotel after a nasty experience at Savannah Suites. For a few dollars more a night, we had 2 comfy beds, clean carpets, a nice bathroom, and an extremely courteous staff. The hotel was still in the final stages of being renovated so the hallways didn't look that great, but our room was finished. The breakfast in... more

I was the organizer for a family reunion, and let me say, my family greatly enjoyed their stay. This hotel served breakfast, and had a happy hour every evening that the adults enjoyed. The group rate we received was about $80.00. We had a booking deadline that some of the family members missed. After speaking with the sales department, they... more

My husband and parents arrived on 5/23/2009 for our stay and were told that we would have hot water by our check in time of 3:00 P.M. We decided to grab lunch down on River Street and check out the shops. We arrived back at the hotel around 4:30 and checked in without a problem. I decided to take a... more

My boyfriend & I stayed at this hotel for a conference. This was the conference host hotel so I figured that it couldn't be "that" bad. After realizing that this hotel was formally a Club House Inn and under new management, I figured the hotel had to offer a great group deal for the participating conference group. The remodel was... more

We booked this last minute as our plans changed and it was OK for the most part except cleanliness: the table was greasy and I had to wash it several times with water, we wanted to bath our 2 year old but decided otherwise because the tub was definitely not clean. more

We just spent the past weekend at this hotel. We were meeting friends for a weekend in Savannah, and a friend of theirs recommended this hotel. We booked our stay before I read the reviews on this page. The negative comments made me wonder if we had made a mistake. We did not. We arrived on Friday afternoon hot and... more

K, while planning my trip to Savannah I ran across the website for this establishment. I had never stayed in one of these before. It was okay I guess. The room itself was 119.00 per nite. I thought was a little pricey for something along the lines of a best western or Days Inn. The staff was friendly, the only... more

I am surprised at the recent reviews stating that the hotel was clean - we did not share that experience. Beds, pillows and towels are clean but the floors are filthy! My kids feet were black within 15 minutes of walking on the hotel room floor. While I'm sure they were swept, I doubt they've ever been cleaned. Vents in... more

Reading the reviews you would think people were writing about two different hotels. Our party rented 4 different rooms, 3 were pool side and 1 was a suite, all on the first floor. None of us were happy with our rooms but the place isn't all bad. The good: decent location (foget about the pawn shop out front, business was... more
