My wife and I had a great romantic dinner the weekend of May 15th 2015. Nice pianist and wait staff. Patrick seems like he's always there- hard worker and friendly as usual. Love the entire property! We visit Savannah a couple of times a year and try to make sure we stop in during each visit

We stayed in room 107 for three nights. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. Since it's old (part of the charm of this place) do not expect a modern updated bathroom! It as functional, but not fancy. Our king size four poster bed was very high up so I was grateful for the stepstool provided. We had all the... More

The Inn feels like a boarding house, a rambling boarding house. Room 201 is HUGE. The king size bed is up on a platform. Quiet. The furniture is a bit tattered and worn but my biggest problem was in the bathroom. The ceiling has mold and mildew. The shower faucet is just a pipe with no shower spray. Seems a... More

Stayed in the Inn for 1 night while taking in a short stay in Savannah. The room we stayed in was across in another building just across from reception, room 306. Nice and clean with period style furniture, added charm to the room. The bed was comfy and as for the bump in the night mysteries we did have a... More

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at the 1790 Inn. We stayed in room 301, which is in the guesthouse. We had our own private parking spot, which was nice for this area. Great location; everything is completely walkable from the hotel. Room was quaint and cozy. Breakfast was good, though only pastries, fruit, and yogurt. Coffee was... More

Stayed in room 103 queen and wasn't thrilled. Very steep stairs (no elevator) as in most older homes to get to any guest rooms. Room is in need of repairs. Carpet next to couch was unattached to floor and some bath fixtures were rusty. Breakfast left a lot to be desired (continental- no hot items)! You get 2 complimentary drinks... More

Started out as just an overnight stop on our way back north and developed into a short fun vacation. Room in row house 309 was a trek up an extrenely narrow staircase to our 3rd flr.room. Grumpy, house staff, came out of nowhere and insisted on carrying my bags to our immaculately clean room. Just as on the internet ad,... More

I booked this hotel without any clue of it's history. Upon check-in, I noticed the t-shirts for sale at the front desk - "I slept with a ghost ". Oh, my! I'm relieved to report Anna did not visit us in room 205. I understand she tends to hang out in the room next door - #204. This really was... More

Stopped here on a pub tour and really enjoyed the atmosphere. So cozy, so much history. There are couches and high tops surrounding the bar. It felt like you landed in a hidden lounge. It wasn't crowded. It was pretty quiet. Not a party spot (which I appreciated). More like grab a drink, make yourself at home, and have some... More

Booked two rooms but on arrival they had mistakenly entered just one on their system. First person disorganised and not particularly welcoming. Called in second person to help, who confirmed their mistake but had to phone the general manager for a solution. During all this time we were kept waiting without being offered a seat or complimentary drink in the... More
