First, It is an Older building and I knew that no surprise, I thought it to be very nicely maintained. Second, a really nice maid named Saundra explained the whole ghost story to us and even gave us a tour. Third, breakfast was awesome, again someone named Saundra but not the same person as maid, they bent over backwards to... more

My friends and I wanted to stay in a haunted Bed & Breakfast for our trip to Savannah, unfortunately we did not check the reviews for the 17 Hundred 90 before we booked it. The staff acted like we were bothering them and that we were not good enough to be staying there. The room did not have a coffee... more

My wife and I stayed here for one night and we had an excellent experience. We were greeted by Tami. She was very friendly and showed us to our room to make sure it was acceptable. The room was nicely decorated, clean, and cozy. The building is very old but that adds to the character and charm. We had a... more

Arrived in Savannah without booking in advance. Conference had booked up the town. Had family of four with kids aged 8 and 10. Charged extra $25 for each kid. Location was good for Historic Savannah. The rooms were old but so is the building. Nicely decorated with good beds. Dated washroom. Creaky. Was a bit spooky but we had a... more

My wife and I encountered 17hundred90 representative at the Savannah History Museum and thought we might try the restaurant since we were visiting Savannah for the first time. We barely made it before lunch closed and they were very accomodating. The lunch was fantastic so we thought that we'd check out their rooms since the quoted price at the museum... more

We just stayed at the 17 hundred 90 for the Memorial Day weekend. We booked room 204 because of the ghost story. From the moment we checked in it was disappointing. The young girl who was checking us in didn't go over anything about the bed & breakfast. She just handed us our room keys (after searching for them) and... more

The staff was excellent. The breakfast was fresh and the folks maintaining it were friendly and dilligent. The bed was very comfortable. I slept like the dead... Sorry Annie. The building needs some TLC. The wallpaper is showing its age. The exterior stairs are rotting. If you are going to replace one step, just replace them all (It looks cheap... more

The only good thing I can say is that the room was very comfortable. They have forgetful staff who do not care at all to please you (the owner, in particular). We stayed two nights because we had already paid for it and it was not refundable. Breakfast was late arriving the first day and did not arrive at all... more

Needless to say, we will NEVER visit this place again. First, we planned our vacation dates purposely to stay in Room 204 (the haunted room.) This meant we had to go on Easter weekend because that was the only dates that the room was available. When we arrived, we were told that we could not stay in the room because... more

Compared to other places in town, we got a pretty good rate at this inn, so overall we thought it was fine. We had a large, spacious room, although the window was not to the outside, but rather to a hallway. We had breakfast downstairs in a little pub/cellar, and weren't terribly impressed. They had run out of stuff and... more
