This tastefully restored inn is in a great location in the historic district. We stayed in room 302, the entire top floor of the guest house with its own private sitting room. Very charming, spacious & comfortable, well worth the walk down the street & climb up the stairs. Service was friendly & attentive. The 2 free drinks in their... More

We stayed in room 308. The website doesn't tell you what rooms are upstairs or on the main level. You can't go by the room numbers either. A standard continental breakfast was served each morning. I had an issue with the cleanliness of the room. The toilet didn't look to be clean. Towels smelled mildewy. Housekeeping forgot to leave clean... More

I spent my first night of my Florida vacation. The place is very nice and the breakfast is really great. The room was nice, very old style. I personally don't like the old tapestry and the cumbersome heavy tents and bedcovers but the overall effect is very nice. You really have the feeling you have been transported back to the... More

We were in Savannah for 4 nights for my cousins wedding. We stayed in room 312 which is located in a guest house on the next block from the Inn. It was perfect and quiet. It has a lovely sitting room and beautiful staircase up to the rooms. There are no elevators but that wasn't a problem at all. The... More

Very spacious and comfortable room 207. Easy check in and nice tavern for comp drink. Great location to The Old Pink House and the Lucas Theater. Only drawback is the limited parking which isn't just for inn guest, but also used by patrons of the bar and restaurant. Expect to park on the street and feel especially lucky if you... More

Located in the historic district and close walking proximity to everything. Room was very comfortable and staff went out of their way to make sure your stay was enjoyable. The small bar seems to be a watering hole for locals and that adds to the experience. The only negative I can think of is that I did not get to... More

Only reason we rated it average is based on the street noise from our room choice. We stayed in Room 311, which is in a separate building. It was wonderful! The building features a full kitchen, lovely parlor and dinning room on the main level, and two, large guest rooms upstairs each with a private bath. 311 faces Oglethorpe Ave, which... More

This charming Inn is close to just about anything you would like to see in the historical district of Savannah, about a ten minute walk to the riverwalk and two blocks from Leopolds Ice Cream! The antisipation of ghostly apparitions added to the excitement so we didnt mind the creeking wooden floors and antique furnishings. Dinner in the main dining... More

We stayed there end of last year and loved it. The staff are pleasant. The place is cozy with everything you need and offers a complimentary drink for each person in their bar down on the main floor. We stayed in the room known to be haunted. We had no haunted experiences but it was still worth the stay! Definitely... More

My husband and I stayed at the 1790 in Savannah this past weekend. It was a very enjoyable trip. We arrived early and were able to check in. We stayed in room 101. We were also given a coupon for two free drinks in their lovely little tavern. The room was spacious and homey. I loved the Inn its self... More
