This is a quirky little place located in the historic district. We enjoyed the history behind the place. The rooms were charming with antique furniture and a comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly. We arrived very late and the manager personally escorted us to our rooms. The rate was affordable and we would recommend staying here to anyone who is... More

We stayed in room 107. It had a large four post bed with a fireplace in the room. It was very comfortable given the age of the hotel. If you can walk up stairs and understand with age you won't find perfection then this is a great hotel. A nice breakfast was included and the staff were very helpful. We... More

It was supposed to be a pleasure stay...our room was not ready, we had to wait for 45 mins before they were ready for us...we were given a "guest cottage", I know it is supposed to be "historic" but it smelled "musty" and was very dark. I have to say the Restaurant and Bar were fabulous, loved the food!!! Got... More

we stayed at the 1790 inn in May of 2014. We were in room 201, a king bed with a large living area. Our friends were able to visit with us and have plenty of seating and room to visit. There is free parking if you get there in time for the limited spaces and the staff was very helpful... More

We made our reservations for June 2015 back in July 2014 because I HAD to have the haunted room 204 with Anna the ghost. Unfortunately, I think she was away on vacation because there was no activity. The Inn staff was great and very accomidating. Room was nice. FYI...There is no elevator there and if you are an early riser... More

We have been eating at 1790 for many years while living in Savannah. The new "ghost/haunting" craze seems to have made its way into the mealtimes at what otherwise is a very nice restaurant. We spent our final meal at 1790 today listening to a waiter entertain the room with ghost stories complete with photos and a Miley Cyrus testimonial....class... More

The story that the Inn is haunted helps give some kudos to the age of the building. It is a very old building indeed. The people that own and run it were from the start very helpful, friendly and made every effort to make us welcome. Our room was comfortable although somewhat strange in so far as it did not... We stayed in one of the guest houses. It was clean and was a nice large room, which you don't always get with a reasonably priced b&b. Just please be quiet in whatever you do - the walls are very thin! The breakfast was simple - pastries, fruit, yogurt - but you don't need much when you are eating lunch... More

This is a small hotel located on President and Lincoln Streets. Antique furniture but nice room size. We could have used a stool to get up into the bed! This is a great location to many things. The Water is a few blocks away. Liapoles Ice Cream is about 1 1/2 blocks, Cemetary is near by.Owen Thomas House is almost... More

First and most importantly, if your expecting the ritz this is not your hotel. We stayed in room 207. The hotel was built in 1790 so I don't think there was one part of the floor that was level in our room. But that just added to the charm of the hotel. We really loved staying here. The staff was...
