We stayed at the Azalea Inn on our honeymoon and loved it. Everyone there was very helpful and we loved breakfast every morning. We stayed in the Cotton Exchange and would recommend it to anyone.

When making our plans for our trip to Savannah, we decided to try a Bed & Breakfast because this was a special occasion for us. We sent a request to several B&Bs listed on the web page. A few, including the Azalea Inn, answered our request quickly. We had never utilized a B&B, so we reviewed the information very carefully.... More

We had a great stay. The entire Inn staff made sure we were happy and comfortable. When our dinner reservations needed to be changed, they not only helped us decide on a new place but made all the needed arrangements. We will most defintely stay at the Azalea Inn when we return to Savannah

What a charming B&B. Located just a block off Forsyth Park in the Historic District of Savannah, we found this perfect for our 4 day 25th Wedding Anniversary getaway. Our room with a private bath and king size bed was very nice. The mornings would start off with a very nice breakfast just enough to prepare you for your day... More

Savannah is a beautiful gem. The relaxed southern atmosphere is reminiscent of old-world Europe, with walkers & cyclists, horse-drawn carriages, and an easy-going pace. History surrounds you and the surprise is to not see crinolines and muskets. The magnificent live oaks, bedecked with Spanish moss, that line the streets and shade the squares, endow the city with a sense of... More

I stayed at the Azalea Inn in early June 2006 and had a great time. The house is in walking distance to the historic district and has onsite parking. (The parking enforcement people in Savannah are out and about all day giving tickets). The Inn staff was very accommodating to us and gave great suggestions, especially for restaurants (Firefly Cafe,... More

We were returning to our home in Nashville, TN from a trip to Walt Disney World and made an overnight stop in Savannah. We opted to stay at a bed and breakfast to enhance the experience of our visit to this quaint historic city. Having never stayed at a B &B we were not sure what to expect when we... More

Jake and Teresa and the employees are a delight. They do everything possible to see that you have a wonderful stay in Savannah. They made reservations for a ghost walk, city tour and for dinners. They made arrangements for pedicabs to pick us up at the Inn...a nice alternative if you don't want to walk downtown. Several times we did... More

When I arrived at this Inn-it was under a lot of construction-rennovation. This is understandable, but I was not quite expecting the location it was in. The owner seened nice, but the rooms we were to stay in reeked of old smell-mildew/moldish and one of the ceilings was peeling off. Needless to say,I felt unsafe in that section of Savannah and when... More

Management response:

Part of historic Savannah's character is its pride in keeping this mesmerizing city beautiful. Perpetually, especially with homes over 100 years old, there are activities in the Historic District with property renovations, landscaping, sidewalk improvements and new construction ... even along the corridor of Bay Street near Hampton Inn. The Azalea Inn is a beautiful residential neighborhood property and the... More
