We got a terrific price thru Hotwire at the Best Western Promenade (in fact, I was REALLY concerned because it was so inexpensive!). Based on the advice here, we requested a room facing the rear of the hotel. Everything was great... very comfortable beds; large, clean bath and very accommodating hotel staff. Room was nice, not 5 star but good. Only issue was tub didnt drain and bathrooom door didnt lock. Beds were comfy. Room was reasonably priced compared to other hotels that close to river st. You are 50 yards from where river street begins. more

Between the hours of 2 and 3 am. we were awakened by the 100's of teenagers coming from bars. Not only were they walking but ithey were in cars (a little scary). Music was blasting, they were yelling, fighting, throwing up!!! No respect what so ever. Won't be back. more
