This hotel is right in the historic district where you want to be. You can park in the garage and have in and out privileges. You are in walking distance of everything. The room was a corner suite with a fabulous river view. This is one of the best motel stays we have ever had. The rooms were large, clean... more

if you are looking to explore the Historic District, this location cannot be beat. and you get a lot for your money: excellent front desk and valet service, clean and comfortable accommodations, and a decent extended continental breakfast. I had just a few minor quibbles: they really need to spread tables out more in the breakfast area, they need to... more

The rooftop pool was closed for renovations, we had specifically booked this hotel so we would have a good view of the fireworks. The manager was rude and threatening and unwilling to give us our money back. The front desk staff was unhelpful. We had requested adjoining rooms but were given rooms three floors apart. They also claimed to not... more

After a botched romantic getaway to Hilton Head, the wife and I decided to stop in Savannah for one night to tour on the way back home. I reserved a King Room overlooking Bay Street and the river. Our room was not ready but there was one available on the 3rd floor that was the same room, without the river... more

We went out for a mini vacation and traveled to Hilton Head and then stopped by Savannah for a day trip and this stop made our get-a-way! The staff at this Holiday Inn Express were so attentative and just plain out nice it was surprising. The area is full of culture and the Holiday Inn is in the historic down... more

We were given a fifth floor room overlooking the river. The view was great and the location was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. As others have said, we never had to use our car. The downside is that the street that runs along the front of the hotel is a truck route for the port. All... more

My husband and I just returned home from Savannah. We spent 4 days at this hotel and couldn't be happier with our choice. Everyone was so nice! Even the maintenance guy asked if we were enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything! Our room on the 5th floor had a view of the river which was great. Use the valet... more
