Excellent location if you have students thinking about going to SCAD, everything is walk-able, freshman dorms (The Hive) 2-3 blocks away. Multiple restaurants are very close-by. If you are coming from the north, you come across the Savannah River bridge and basically arrive at the hotel, very convenient.

In town for just one night we ended up at the Hampton. Centrally located to the downtown area which offers many places it go by just walking. Room was very clean, staff are very friendly and the bed was really comfortable. I had a hard time connecting to the Wi-Fi but I don't know if that was due to my... More

Such a beautiful hotel in the middle of one of the most gorgeous historical towns in America! Our suite was spotless and probably one of the biggest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel and parking was a breeze directly behind the hotel. We absolutely love it!!

When I book this location I didn't realize it was on the edge of the historic district so we did a lot of walking. The on site parking lot is small and there is additional parking across the street at an Embassy Suites. We only moved the car once and lost the spot in the lot. The lobby is gorgeous... More

Our stay here was wonderful. I have found that I do more traveling then many people my age. As a younger traveler, I am often not treated as well as other, older, guest. However, at this hotel, I was treated very fairly! All around, the staff was wonderful. The rooms were great- very clean. Breakfast was ok.. but then again,... More

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. We requested a few items in our room before arrival that never made it to the room. When asking for recommendations about food places nearby, the staff was very informative and helpful. Thought it was a little over priced for what we received but overall nice stay.

We spent 2 nights in Savannah for my birthday before heading out to Tybee for a night. This was our 3rd trip to Savannah since Thanksgiving. Each time we have tried a different hotel. We stayed at the Doubletree and Hilton Garden in on our previous stays. I enjoyed staying at the Hampton because of the breakfast. I was worried... More

FishWhenYouCan, Thanks for the review. We certainly understand that no one likes to be in an elevator that is not operating correctly. Our management staff is already on it! Our corner rooms are some of the largest that we have and we are so glad you all were able to enjoy them. There are so many activities throughout historic Savannah... More

Another reviewer used the phrase "Worn, but tolerable" and we found that the perfect description. This Hampton must have been around for a while because it's starting to show some wear. The wallpaper is coming off at the edges, paint is peeling on the bottom of the doors, grout/spackling has chunks missing. But all these are tolerable because the rooms... More

The room was worn, but tolerable. Cleaning staff lacked in daily service and parking was a nightmare. Front desk staff was great and check-in/-out was quick and easy. Breakfast food was OK. Location was great, but I doubt I'll stay there again.

Check in was good. We had a great room. It was wheelchair accessible and gave us extra room for the 5 of us. We were also provided a roll away bed. This was 2 Hampton Inns in 2 nights that we stayed at. Both were above expectations. Having free breakfast for the 5 of us was a great deal. The... More
