I have been vacationing at Bed and Breakfasts for the past ten years. By far the best experience of any I have stayed at without a doubt. This home was beautiful, clean, the food was great and the hostess was the best. If I am ever back in Savannah it is the only place I would stay.

Colleen Williams' Confederate House is ideally located right next to Forsythe Park and an easy walk to many historic district attractions. The bedrooms were large, and we loved having a sitting room outside the bedrooms where we could visit with fellow travelers. If you are a fan of large, elegant Southern breakfasts, this abode is for you. Colleen is a... More

We recently met friends for a tour of Savannah. The Confederate House was perfectly located to everything we wanted to see and do. Colleen couldn't have been more gracious. Morning breakfasts were very elegant. The bedrooms were large, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the sitting area outside our rooms. It was the perfect place to wind down... More

My wife an I were just there for the night, but will be going back for another visit for sure! Colleen was such a wonderful host and we loved listing to all of her stories. There is a lot of attractions in the area within walking distance, we especially loved Forsythe Park which was right across the street.

This B&B would have been a good value for $100.nt if the a/c worked. It was 93* outside and 85* in our room. We brought it to the proprietors' attn. but finally decided to leave at 9:30p because it still wasn't working and we could not sleep in an 85* room. There were no fans of any kind, windows couldn't... More

We had a wonderful stay at The Confederate House! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Blueberry pancakes with warm syrup the first morning and egg and cheese omelets the second morning, both served with fresh ripe watermelon, blueberries, strawberries and cantaloupe! The coffee was steeping hot and the silver, china, candlelight, and linens made it all the more special. Colleen is... More

My wife and I stayed at this B&B last weekend for our 5th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay. The room rate was reasonable. The hotel is walking distance from City Market (about a mile) and many other sites. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast that was served was healthy and there was plenty of food. Colleen was... After a drive from Charleston this past weekend, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcoming we received from Coleen, the owner of the house. She has a beautiful home and can definitely cook! We enjoyed having the beautiful park across the street and being able to walk around the Victorian and Historical districts, all which were... More
