Nice hotel in historic Savannah. Very friendly and helpful staff. Valet staff very responsive. Walking distance to city market bars, resturants, etc. River street is a quick walk from the hotel. Great location in historic Savannah.

The hotel is in a good location - convenient to many hot spots. The hotel was dirty - there was a used bandaid on the floor of my room. The room smelled musty. Even though I am a Hilton Rewards member they gave me a room on the 2nd floor that was looked out onto the pool - literally. I... More

The location was great for the St Patty's day festivities. It's right beside city market so if your not trying to be in the "mix" this hotel is not for you. It's about a 8-10 min walk to river street. We valeted our car the whole weekend since everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. The bathroom was... More

Hotel looks great and awesome location but I just expected more from the Hilton. No complementary breakfast like the Hampton Inn (owed my Hilton) actually the breakfast was $15 and don't forget the $25 a day parking fee. I just expected more from the Hilton.

The lobby and staff were very nice. Short lines at the counter and very attentive and helpful staff. The room was not so great. One bed had urine stains and the other was super uncomfortable. They advertise adjustable beds but those are just in the rooms with king size beds. The queens are much less nice!

We were originally supposed to have a long weekend in Charleston, but because of the weather we ended up in Savannah. What a great alternative. The location was close to everything. An added bonus is the Doubletree is across the street and has a little bigger bar which can be used like it is in your hotel- add your bill... More

As HHI members we were e-mailed the day prior to our arrival asking us to select our room from several available rooms. We picked a corner room and were assigned the room by e-mail. When we tried to check in at 4:10 PM we were told by an unfriendly desk clerk and that the room would not we ready for... More

The Hilton Garden Inn Savannah had a great location to access all the fun in Savannah. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. A street side room may not be right for those that are light sleepers as there are lots of late night activity on the weekends. Didn't bother us.

The location of the hotel is great - right down by the river. Entrance into the parking lot was "coned" off and had to use valet parking. Rooms were spacious and clean. Front desk had issues with billing and after two attempts to get the bill right, was rude and insolent. This is a good property, but deserves better management.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that the nearby parking lot was coned off during your visit, however, the parking lot is not owned or managed by the hotel. We do apologize for any inconvenience this caused you during your stay. We are also very sorry for the issues regarding your bill and greatly appreciate... More

I rate hotels on location, safety, cleanness, and price. Location is important because I like to be close to meetings have ample parking, and close to restaurants. After traveling all day the last thing I want is to climb back into my car and go look for a place to eat. I prefer to park my own car without having... More
