Quirky and fun. Luxurious rooms with an attentive staff. If you like everything the same; rooms, decor etc. the Mansion will not fit your bill. Also, with all the the fine restaurants in Savannah, don't overlook the Mansion dining room. My wife and I had one of the best meals of our vacation there. more

I recently spent five days at the Mansion at Forsyth. I traveled there with my mother. We had a great time. The hotel is distinctive in its style. The decor was eclectic. The hotel room was a decent size. Much has been said in previous reviews about the beds. They are very comfortable. I did not experience the noise from... more

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was beautiful and the service at the hotel was fabulous. The rooms were clean. The hotel ambience was sexy, artsy, creative, unique, hip and cool. The food at 700 Drayton was really good but the service was annoying. The waitresses had bad attitudes. But the decor was amazing with orange crystal... more

What a place! The beds were comfy, art everywhere- (and my fave kind- 80's brightly colored, thickly schmeared canvases!)great breakfast that was well priced. Nice little pool, terrific design through out the hotel carried out here, too. Nice staff, helpful. I would go back again and again. A great town, very artistic and architecturally significant. I can't believe all those... more

Super nice hotel, large clean well-appointed room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Good location on edge of historic district. It's a bit of a walk to the riverfront, but we preferred to walk rather than try to find parking in the popular riverfront area. We found a great rate on the hotel through travelzoo.com, and it was well worth it. more

I had just returned from a year deployment in the Middle East, as I'm an active duty Lt Colonel in the armed forces. I was excited to see my family again and planned a long, slow trip from the south, where they had been living while I was gone, to our next duty station on the Mid Atlantic coast. I... more

The hotel decor is fun, chic and a bit funky. Some may find it a bit off-putting or over-the-top but I enjoyed it. The art is plentiful and makes for a great stroll around the mansion to see it all. I definitely think the hotel caters to a younger, hip crowd and for true sophistication you should go elsewhere. The... more

Although it was too frufru for my husband, I loved the hotel - especially the bathroom! Incredible, huge, double shower with 3 rainfall heads, but the best touch was the chandelier sconces were on a reostat so that you could dim the lights. The bed was very comfy, linens excellent. The decor was opulent/funky, the only downside was there was... more

We were on a "women's trip" and this hotel was chosen by our tour guides. The beds are very comfortable and the service is "great." I've heard this hotel was haunted, didn't see anything like that. Great location to see the town. Try the ??? Pety cabs... They're reasonable and helps the local college students pay their tuition. more

I selected Mansion on Forsyth Park from extensive internet searching. While this method doesn't always work out, this time it was a BINGO. This isn't just a hotel. It's a showplace of wonderful art, exquisite restaurant, fabulous cooking school, a gorgeous spa, beautiful lounges and surroundings to take your breath away. As an added bonus, there is a $12.00 a... more
