My wife and I just returned from our first trip to Savannah, and were lucky enough to find this perfectly located and beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. Our room was fantastic. It was decorated in antiques, although I agree with another commentor that the room was not overdone, and rather, was extraordinarily tasteful. In addtion, the Inn Keepers, Barbara and... more

Such an intimate, lovely, perfectly-located bed and breakfast, with amazing and gracious owners/innkeepers -- Barbara and Royce. We absolutely **loved** the Columbia Square Inn! It is beautiful with antiques, but not overdone; right on the most lovely square; full of light; and a short walk to the best of shopping and the River area as well as the Savannah College... more

With a much needed respite, my husband invited me to join him on a business trip to this amazing city. Never did I imagine, how lovely a time we would have. From the minute we stepped into the home of Barbara & Royce, we were comfortable. Our room overlooking just one of the historical squares was so pretty, and had... more

We just returned from spending seven nights in Savannah at the Columbia Square Inn. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this lovely bed and breakfast to anyone. The home is beautifully decorated and Barbara and Royce Fricks are wonderful, accomodating people. They are available and yet respectful of your privacy. They stock a small refrigerator with various breakfast... more

They made us feel like we were family. The rooms were beautiful, the food for breakfast in our room was delicious. They even kept us supplied in Diet Coke!! I would love to visit again. Great location too. more

Intimate, convenient, user-friendly, quiet, lovely. All these words describe the Columbia Square Inn and more. Barbara and Royce were wonderful hosts, available if we needed them, but not intrusive. They invited us for wine our final evening there. This historic house is furnished beautifully and comfortably with period pieces, but without frills. We felt very much at home with our... more

My husband and I along with his Mother spent 3 days at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. This is a true Southern home with lots of Southern hospitality due to the owners, Barbara and Royce. It is a very simple and relaxed setting in the heart of old Savannah. We will definitely stay there again. more

When my husband and I went to Sultry, Steamy Savannah in July our friends thought we were crazy. Yes it was 95 degress in the shade; yes you could cut the humidity with a knife; and we loved every minute of it. First, we were fortunate enough to find the Columbia Square Inn run by Barbara and Royce Fricks. This... more

The location, the inn, and innkeepers make it worth coming back to. In Savannah, with a very large historic district, location is KEY. This Inn in a prime location. It faces Columbia Square, which is 2 squares in from the river, beside Keyhoe Inn and the 1790 House, and near Firefly Cafe and the Colonial Cemetary. On a morning walk... more
