We discovered after arrival that rooms at the McMillan Inn cost 50% more than those at two of the most highly rated and lovely award-winning inns in Savannah - the Marshall House and the Gastonian. We didn't compare beyond that. The website depicts the rooms as bright and cheerful, when in fact not only ours, but also the other two... more

When my wife and I checked in to the McMillan Inn, we were expecting a wonderful stay full of warm southern hospitality, gourmet breakfasts and all of the extras expected from a highly rated B&B. Our expectations were met with every aspect, except for the hospitality. We stayed in the Gaston Room, and it was beautiful. The working fireplace, Jacuzzi,... more

My wife and I always stay at B&Bs while vacationing so I consider my opinion worthy of consideration. The inn keepers (Cindy and Joe) provided the highest degree of a quality inn, personalized attention to assist with our daily plans, and cordial/friendly atmosphere to make one feel at home with them and the other guests. The inn itself is quite... more

This was our first B & B experience. We were blessed with the Carriage House for 3 nights, all of which were quiet, comfortable and serene. The location lent itself to walking, so you can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding buildings with their southern architecture, which takes you back in time. A dip in the pool in the evening,... more

First of all, I would like to say I am exhausted from a long day of travel. We just got home 2 & 1/2 hours ago, yet I am compelled to sit down and write this review. That should speak for itself! My husband and I are B&B people. Bottom line, we only stay in a hotel/motel, etc. if a... more
