I've stayed at the Double Tree Hotel in Historic Savannah twice now, which has only reinforced my opinion that it's one of the best hotels in the area. It's located on Bay Street, just one block over from the river, making all sites very easy to walk to, but still far enough down the road to keep late night revelers... More

Arrived on my annual MLK weekend trip and the valet met our cab with pleasant enthusiasm (LOL I solved my issue with the outrageous valet parking charge by flying in!) They now have a happy hour!!! Can't wait. Breakfast has become a delightful experience. The service was true southern hospitality by dear sweet Michelle. Love her!!! Had eggs benedict cooked... More

We had three rooms....any requests, any service, and all the front desk, for three days, was a test of our patience and intelligence. These poor underpaid people went out of their way to be rude, uncaring and to put us in our place. There is an old expression that comes to mind...."pay peanuts, get monkeys". I do not blame the... Stayed there for two nights in December. Every single staff person at every service point was professional and helpful. And the location is a big plus!

Stayed recently in December. The location is great, 1 block away from city market and in walking distance to the river front. Many places of interest near the hotel. Make sure to talk with concierge, she is very knowledgeable will provide great tips.

The room as always was beautiful and comfortable. The hotel was noisier than expected, which this is a first seeing as we have stayed at this hotel seven times previously and have never had a problem with noise. We had requested a river view room, but ended up facing the back which was a bit of a disappointment because we... More

We booked to stay at this hotel through virgin holidays, as part of a 4 centre vacation. At the time of booking (13 months prior) we stipulated we wanted a king room, and as virgin holiday travellers we would get a 'preferred room'. In fact when we arrived we were given a double room, over looking the parking garage exit,when... More

Located in the center of the historic district. Valet parking only. While checking in the employee couldn't seem to find my Hilton Honors number so I had to provide the receipt of the Hilton Hotel that I stayed in the night before. I have always loved the signature chocolate chip cookie that DoubleTree serves. I strongly recommend you get a... More
