Not great, not horrible. Clean, just basic. No breakfast. The towels are tiny and then so I would recommend packing some. Friendly staff, but skeleton crew and you have to look for them. One room had a tube tv mounted on top of a wardrobe that looked a bit sketchy.

Motel 6 is not my favorite chain, simply because it doesn't offer some of the basic amenities that other bargain chains do. However, we were fleeing another area motel with bugs, so we had to take what was available. This motel was clean and beds were quite comfortable. Our grandchildren enjoyed the nice indoor pool. We stayed here for the... More

Unfortunately, this was not the last time on this trip that we discovered that, at pretty much the going rate of other comparable motels, Motel 6 no longer supplies any significant basic amenities: no iron, no hair dryer, no in-room coffee serviette, NOT EVEN AN ALARM CLOCK, no shampoo....

Stopped here on a road trip with my husband and dog. Outside looked very nice but smelled like (human) urine. Went into the lobby to check in and it didn't look inviting but we were exhausted and knew Motel 6 accepts pets so we decided to take a chance. Front desk clerk was friendly though. We were on the 2nd... More

After having a really disgusting experience at Howard Johnson Express on Savannah my family and I reserved a suite at Motel 6. It was our last resort because all other hotels were booked for the night. The first suite we were assigned was 228. Upon entering I smelled an odd odor. Later realized it was mold/mildew. Inside The cabinet beside... More

We are were two couples travelling together, and we usually share a room to save money. First of all, the hotel and rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Our microwave and fridge appeared to be from the 1980's, and the decor and bed linens left MUCH to be desired. We also only paid $50 for the night, so this... More

In serious need of an update. We checked in, got our room keys...neither worked. Back to the desk for 10 minutes to get two more keys. Only one worked out door and neither worked the side enterance. Room was clean. No shampoo or conditioner but at least there was soap. Beds were comfortable.

It is what it is. Low price, decent rooms, nice hotel staff. Ok for a quick overnight stay to get some shut-eye. The rooms were decent size and nice and clean. Its a no frills kind of hotel, but like I said, for just staying overnight it suited us just fine. There was an odd smell, but nothing a little... More

After a less than satisfactory experience at the hotel next door, this place was clean & safe and the check in was super quick....even at 1am. Only complaint would be the stinky smell that we couldn't seem to escape. Smells like the hotel is downwind from a paper mill/factory. Overall experience was good.

We are on our way down the coast and Savannah was our first overnight stop. We were able to book the rooms through a hotel booking website for a price around $42 dollars a night. The check-in was very easy; the person working the front counter was VERY friendly. She had our paperwork when we had just booked the room... More
