After having a really disgusting experience at Howard Johnson Express on Savannah my family and I reserved a suite at Motel 6. It was our last resort because all other hotels were booked for the night. The first suite we were assigned was 228. Upon entering I smelled an odd odor. Later realized it was mold/mildew. Inside The cabinet beside... More

We are were two couples travelling together, and we usually share a room to save money. First of all, the hotel and rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Our microwave and fridge appeared to be from the 1980's, and the decor and bed linens left MUCH to be desired. We also only paid $50 for the night, so this... More

In serious need of an update. We checked in, got our room keys...neither worked. Back to the desk for 10 minutes to get two more keys. Only one worked out door and neither worked the side enterance. Room was clean. No shampoo or conditioner but at least there was soap. Beds were comfortable.

It is what it is. Low price, decent rooms, nice hotel staff. Ok for a quick overnight stay to get some shut-eye. The rooms were decent size and nice and clean. Its a no frills kind of hotel, but like I said, for just staying overnight it suited us just fine. There was an odd smell, but nothing a little... More

After a less than satisfactory experience at the hotel next door, this place was clean & safe and the check in was super quick....even at 1am. Only complaint would be the stinky smell that we couldn't seem to escape. Smells like the hotel is downwind from a paper mill/factory. Overall experience was good.

We are on our way down the coast and Savannah was our first overnight stop. We were able to book the rooms through a hotel booking website for a price around $42 dollars a night. The check-in was very easy; the person working the front counter was VERY friendly. She had our paperwork when we had just booked the room... More

Promised to have coffee available to guests until 9:00 a.m. in the lobby. It was turned off about 8:30 a.m. They would not make another pot. They were rude. The room was quite expensive. I definitely would not stay at this location again. Other motels offer a breakfast and charge less. The only reason I stayed becuase it was the... More

We had to go to Savannah for a family event on St. Patricks Day. Everything was booked up but we were able to get into this newly converted Motel 6. It had been a Microtel and a Peachtree Inn. It was good fro the price and we were glad it was available. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The pool... More
