Stayed 1 night on 6/13/09. Room size for the money was good. Room was clean but not spotless. Breakfast was very basic. Location is away from downtown but close enough to the Truman to get into town quickly. more

I was very pleased with Oglethrope Inn & Suites. The rooms were spacious and very nice. Charles Walker at the front desk was very professional, nice and helpful. He gave great recommendations to places to eat. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again. I will also refer Oglethrope Inn & Suites to others. more

It is not in the historic district, but only a $1 bus ride there (50 cents for Senior Citizens). Bus stops right outside the door. Suites have mini refrigerator microwave etc. Shopping within easy walking distance to get groceries if needed. Downside... the hotel does not have a restaurant (though there is a good seafood place within two blocks -... more

We recently stayed here during our Savannah vacation. I picked it because it was significantly cheaper than staying in the historic district, and it didn't look scary. Plus, the room rate came with breakfast. We checked in and found out that what I had been quoted over the phone when I booked the reservation ($89/night, not including my AAA discount),... more

We were very pleased with our recent stay. We had a one bedroom suite. Microwave, minifridge, TV, iron and ironing board. It is located 5 miles from the Historic District. Continental breakfast is adequate: cereal, juice, fruit, sweet rolls, toast, hard boiled eggs, coffee. No waffles or biscuits and gravy we found in some other places. Did a laundry, but... more

Except for the beds & pillows, which are really needing to be replaced, the Oglethorpe was a very nice hotel. It is not in downtown Savannah - maybe a 10 minute drive. It was a treat to have a seperate living room area, with a couch & chair. REAL coffee mugs. Newspaper by the door. Small seating areas in the... more
