I should have signed on to my tripadviser account and read the reviews before I reserved a room at what I "assumed" to be a decent and quiet hotel. I pulled up to the Country Inn after a tiresome 457-mile trip and noticed a line of motorcycles parked under the foyer of the hotel. A group of motorcyclist was listening... more

Stayed one night in this hotel on our way south. Felt gross from the time we stepped inside. Our room was old, loud and mostly FILTHY!! The bathroom had urine behind the toilet on the floor, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and MOLD was growing underneath it. The fixtures in the bath were rusty. The kids begged us... more

I am writing this review from the hotel. This is the second night of a two night stay. For the following reasons, my rating of this motel is only "okay." Let me first speak of the positive features of the hotel - the staff. The staff, especially the man working the evening shift, were uniformly helpful and pleasant. They did... more

First of all, I must say that the staff was very friendly!!!!! The room was very dirty, the faucet had so much soap scum that it was black around the sink. It had a foul odor and the bed was not comfortable at all!! I would not stay at this hotel again!!!! Very, very dirty!!! more

Motel is immediately off the I95, bunched with other motels it is next to a cracker barrel. Stayed for 2 days, staff arranged a courtesy pick up and drop off in Savannah historic district, 5 dollars, plus 18 dollars for the historic district tour. The motel room is a standard size, very clean and tidy, there is a nice indoor... more

I made an online reservation which had to be cancelled fewer than 48 hours after I made it. Because I had chosen the least expensive room rate, there was a $25 "cancellation fee" charged to me. Beware of this and don't get sucked into this scam. Upon calling Country Inns and Suites' Customer Service, I was told by a very... more

Chose this hotel because of it's indoor pool and inside rooms on the drive from South Carolina to Orlando. Should have picked one of the other hotels in the gateway area! Although the room was clean there was hole, which had been painted over - badly, and there was a smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking hotel! One of the... more

It took 3 tries to get a clean smelling room and during that time the girl that was helping us acted inconveinced. The staff was not friendly, and was less than welcoming. I expect to feel welcomed when I am staying out of town and I will never stay at this hotel again. more

Stopped on way to FL after having had a great stay nite before in a Country Inn in Maryland. Guess our expectations were too high. Outrageously expensive. We had to go to dinner before we could have our room (6pm). While he was cleaning our room, the guy had been smoking a joint. We had hoped to get a view... more

A lovely hotel - clean, comfortable and convenient! Right off the interstate so easily accessible en route to Florida. Lots of restaurants withing walking distance. An inside room entry and a clean and comfortable room. Generally a good experience - I will stay there again. more
