It's like other Courtyards. Large rooms, good bedding, etc. However it's near the convention center and parking garages which you have to walk past in order to get anywhere. I stayed at this property for one night on the way to Amelia Island. I have stayed at this hotel twice before, but years ago. This hotel was more upscale than the typical courtyard, as it is in the historic district. It had a nice lobby and courtyard with a pool. My room was absolutely spotless. This hotel is located closer to the residential area of the historic district, which, as a former resident, is preferable to me as opposed to the touristy area towards River Street. The hotel location provides easy access for walking through the beautiful streets and squares of Savannah. The Courtyard is clean, pleasant and well located on the edge of the historic district.
