I sit here in the Westin as I write. The Westin is very tall but not spacious. The check in area is relatively small for a huge facility. The Westin is a nice enough property with convenient location to downtown Savannah. No real complaints except for the unpleasant odor that occassionally wafted through the the 12th floor...so strong it even woke me several times during my stay. I guess I would reccommend, the Westing needs to do something about the smell. Consider odor neutralizing HVAC or something! more

checked in for 2 nights for a business conference. smooth check-in, spotless hotel, nice staff, very good food, multiple restaurant/bar on site plus multi screen movie theater located down a long hallway. My husband and I traveled to Savannah for a conference which was held at the westin. The most disappointing thing was that it is located across the river from EVERYTHING else. The Westin has a great location across the river from the main Savannah tourist attractions. There is a great (free) water taxi that takes you where you need to go.
