The hotel has an okay location, but note that it is on the other side of Savannah and you will have to use the hotels ferry or drive for about 10min to get to the city centre. The Westin is a beautiful hotel across the river overlooking Savannah's River Street. The only reason I gave it a mediocre rating on location is that you do have to catch the ferry to go back and forth, which could be a downside for some people. We enjoyed the rides on the river.
