My trip down south was a budget trip but I knew in Savannah I wanted to stay at a nice place. So I read some reviews on the Dresser Palmer House and booked it for 2 days. It was the best money I spent on this trip. Not only is the house beautiful, elegant and peaceful but the hospitality and... more

This B&B is in a lovely old home on a gorgeous street in the perfect location for touring the historical district of Savannah. It is located about 1/2 mile from the Davenport House and less than a mile from the Riverfront. The walk through the historical area, down Bull Street and through the famous Savannah Squares, is just lovely. The... more

We booked this hotel last minute after deciding we both needed a break from our hectic work week! We wanted to enjoy Savannah in its 'full splendor' and decided to seek out smaller accommodations. We chose DP House after searching trip advisor. After some problems with the rental car and a 4 hour drive we were already tired and our... more

My daughter and her husband booked the entire Dresser-Palmer House in April for their wedding guests. As a professional couple they wanted a quiet, warm atmosphere for friends and family from all over North America to gather and reconnect. Each room's decor is different, and features period furnishings; everything is comfortable and immaculate. Recent renovations including modern Italian marble bathrooms... more

Great place--my mother and I stayed for two nights. It was quiet, at the edge of the historic district, and wonderfully homey. Lovely garden, inviting wine and cheese service, scrumptious breakfast, comfy front porch, friendly staff, convenient 24 hour gourmet tea and coffee, and a fireplace to ward off the winter chill. They were going to close for remodeling right... more

We can't stop raving about our stay at the Dresser Palmer House. It was warm and inviting, beautifully decorated, and was in a great location. Our room, recommended by Ron, far exceeded our expectations. The fireplace and the veranda were spectacular. Everyone at the Inn was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed chatting with other guests over wine and cheese... more

We spent a few wonderful days in this bed and breakfast. Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, this exceeded my expectations for service and hospitality. The evening wine and cheese enjoyable. the house is decorated as beautiful as any of... more

The house and porch were very nice. We stayed in the Wisteria partially because the room, fireplace, and big jacuzzi tub appealed to us, but also because it was only 1 of 2 where we had our own thermostat we could control. Another plus is that it had 2 private entrances (one front, one back). The room was very inviting... more
