Everything was perfect! When we arrived, Diane went over a map with us and helped identify places of interest, restaurants etc. The room was gorgeous (we stayed in the Sabel Palm Room). Breakfast every morning was delicious. Location was wonderful-centrally located within walking distance to just about everything. There were always snacks, drinks etc available. It really made the trip... More

We arrived at night after a long flight from Seattle. Our hostess met us with some wine in the living room. She answered all our questions about what to do and how to get there. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. She even made me my hot chocolate, since I don't drink coffee. We... More

I chose this B&B because of the TA reviews and its proximity to the Marriott where my husband had a conference to attend. What a find! Diane was wonderful from the time of booking to our departure. The cottage is homey and comfortable and is an easy walk to the Savannah attractions. We stayed in the Sago Palm Suite which... More

We were visiting Savannah to visit the historic distric area and to see some of the amazing older homes there. We didn't want to stay at a traditional hotel and opted to enjoy some southern living in one of the historic district's bed and breakfasts. The Green Palm Inn was a perfect fit for what we wanted for our three... More

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have stayed for three nights at The Green Palm Inn. Diane and her staff could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. Our room was so serene ,comfortable, well appointed and very clean! Breakfast was more than ample and always delicious. You will need to stroll the beautiful Savannah squares after eating such... My husband and I had the pleasure of spending three nights with Diane at her Green Palm Inn and came away with a true feel for the meaning of Southern hospitality and charm. The thing that impressed us the most was the feeling of being an invited guest rather than a paying customer. Snacks and drinks were set out and... More

Our car didn't move the entire time we were here. It is in the perfect location. In fact, the tour trolleys and carriages pass past it. The food is exceptional and the service is even better. If you need anything, it is taken care of for you. I have absolutely no complaints.

My wife and I had visited Savannah several years ago and stayed in another B&B with a less than wonderful experience, This visit brought a much different experience! We chose Green Palms for its location, size, reviews and price. We were extremely pleased in all of these areas! Diane is a great innkeeper and host! The Sabal Palm was the room... More

We had a wonderful time at the Green Palm Inn! Great food, comfy beds, warm hospitality! Diane is a a warm and attentive host, helpful and accommodating in every way. She even has a magical way of getting red wine out of white clothing! I highly recommend this lovely inn. I would go back in a heartbeat.

From Diane's friendly greeting until we had to head home, our stay at the Green Palm Inn was the perfect way to experience southern hospitality. It wasn't just the beautiful clean rooms, great food, or perfect location, although they all need to be mentioned. Diane was fantastic in guiding us through the many choices to select activities and restaurants that... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Fodor's guide calls the cozy Green Palm Inn a "pleasing little discovery." Exuding a calm, homey yet smart atmosphere, the little Savannah B&B haven reflects the well-traveled innkeepers' devotion to guests. The family-owned Victorian cottage resides in the Savannah historic district along boundaries of colonial Savannah's palisades; near the Savannah Riverfront, Factor's Walk on Bay Street, and concert venues; and, just steps away from patriotic Greene Square park, one of historic Savannah's world-famous garden squares. ... more   less
