at the end of I-16, exit Montgomery street, after 200yards you'll see the hotel on the right. However the entrance is actually on W.Harris, which is a one way street of which Savannah has many. We visited Savannah on Oct 9th - 11. We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites located in the Historic District. Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was clean, the staff was courteous and the location was excellent. We were able to walk to all the attractions in the historic district. Staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the morning breakfast was ample and very good. Found this Hotel through TripAdvisor stayed for a weekend found the location great, nice walk through the historic district to shops resturants and even river street action. DOT bus stop right out side hotel door, runs every 20 min and is free. Pick up a route sheet at the front desk and enjoy the city. Skip the "pay for' trollys... more

The hotel was nice, clean and had easy, convenient garage parking. Staying here did not require driving to see Savannah. A shuttle is also convenient, but we did a lot of walking. Though it's apparently technically in the historic district, don't expect this. A short walk and you're in the midst of it, but this hotel is new and close... more

Pros: great location for the price, comfy beds, great amenities, great breakfast, spacious rooms, awesome TV, adjacent parking garage Cons: only 1 mirror in the room and it's in the bathroom...very inconvenient for 2 girls sharing a room; some staff members were less than friendly more
