Stayed here for a nearby family wedding. Bummed that the outdoor pool wasn't ready but the wide porches and open veranda were great for visiting and relaxing- day and night. Interior is older but beautifully restored. Great spot to catch up with family over a great view.

We own a farm about 20 miles away and some of the locals were speaking highly of the restaurant to we drove up the mountain on a Saturday eve a week ago. What a nice surprise in your own backyard! We decided to forgo the view and eat in the dining room. The place is old but beautifully maintained/restored. Our... More

PERFECT for Fallingwater and even closer to Fort Necessity. It's an old inn with small rooms, but clean and friendly. It's also huge with lots of porches and a huge view. Dinner with a view on a nice night is a must - attentive service, adequate menu and perfect cooking. Same with breakfast in the dining room.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway. I discovered the Inn through a link on the Fallingwater website. Reviews (prior to 6/14) overall were positive, though some did mention (from 2013) that the outdoor pool had not been completed. The Inn's website utilized an image of the outdoor pool on the homepage and when I booked... More

Chose this hotel at the last minute (visited Fallingwater and found this recommended on their website) - perfect location for us, moments away from Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece. Booked thru' Hotels.com (so got a great rate for one night). So for me and the D this turned out to be perfect. Yes the outdoor carpeting is a tad surreal... More

First let me say this "Episode" ranks as the worst hotel experience we have had to date. I will list out everything that was wrong below and you can decide for yourself if you really want to spend your money here or just save the time and slam your head in a door. Let me give you a little background... More

I want this review to be fair. I will tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly. Also note you are getting this from the perspective of a Bride who had her wedding at this place AND had over 40 guests staying in house for a 3 day weekend. That being said.... Reservation process is a mess. I've read... More

We toured the new treehouse that is located behind the Summit Inn. It's about a quarter of a mile hike through the scenic woodlands to the treehouse located behind the Inn, so wear some comfortable shoes. Our guide for the walking tour was outstanding...giving us a historical overview of the Inn and amenities as we walked. It was a beautiful... More

Toured the New Treehouse with a huge group and the staff handled it well. The new Treehouse is wonderful--loved the bridge and the decor. Missed the airing in January 2014 on TV. We will return with other family to tour again. We hope they will build another Treehouse with a "kid theme" too. We were here about 2 hours to walk... More

I just tried booking a room for a romantic evening for our second Anniversary so I drove up to talk to them in person. I wanted a room for Saturday night and they said you must book for two nights on the weekend. After explaining that we are wedding photographers and couldn't do Friday night also and that we just...
