Thank you for your warm comments about the Tremont Park! We spend much time, money, and effort to ensure that the staff at each of our properties stands out as the best in Baltimore. A caring and well-trained staff truly makes all the difference. And you meantioned the word affordable--our hotel is a 6-block walk from the Inner Harbor, and...
This hotel was perfect for us! All-suites, separate rooms for my BF and me and my teenager, clean, spacious . . . Cookies and lemonade at night and danish and coffee in the morning. I even got a break on my valet parking, a MUST in Baltimore. Even let us check out late . . . Its a bit of... more
The first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke even though we were told it was a No Smoking Room. The housekeeping was poor, dirt under furniture, etc. The general upkeep of the place was poor. To top it off our car was returned to us by the valet parking staff with a large scrape on the front bumper!... more
This hotel was a beat down. The elevator takes about 8 days for just the door to close and then another 8 to get to whatever floor you're going to be on. I stayed in the penthouse which felt like being in a 1970's apartment. I had no hot water the whole time and my friends on other floors didn't... more
The valet parking was nice, but it will cost you $18 a night to keep your car in their lot. Not a great location if you are attending any function or conference in the Baltimore Convention Center, it's about a 6.5 block walk or a $6 cab ride. The Tremont Park Hotel does not have individual controls in each room... more
I wish I had taken the time to look at reviews for this hotel. I'm surprised there were any positive reviews. I paid over $180 per night to stay in an "executive" suite which, possibly, was nice about 30 years ago. The plumbing has certainly not been updated since then and neither have the beds, furniture, elevator. I paid to... more
We took a family "Red Sox" trip from Boston. After checking in it was all down hill. We got stuck in the elevator (which continued all weekend). Temp. outside was 95 all weekend. AC broken in both rooms had to get portable AC units which weren't that great. Had to call maintenance more than once to fix broken toilets. No... more
The two guests who stayed over the Orioles vs. Red Sox weekend in early September are exactly correct: we experienced a major air conditioning malfunction at the worst time possible. The entire downtown area sells out months in advance when the Red Sox are in town, and at this time of year daytime highs can range from 70-95 degrees. Unfortunately,...
We stayed for the Red Sox series at Camden Yards in Sep 2007. The hotel looks impressive at first glance but stay there and the true colors show. the day staff is great but once they leave its fend for yourself the night staff are never around and will not help you. Our room #404 the carpet was very wet... more
Great location, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very spacious. Would definitely stay there again! They offer a complimentary shuttle that took us to all of our destinations. more
Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The suite was clean and comfortable. Kitchen adequate for our 3 night stay. The only problem was the shower - either scalding hot or icy cold - you had to be careful and ready to jump out! Nice quiet location and a 5 minute walk to the Inner Harbour or Little... more
