Hotel was disgusting! The floor looked like there was a blood stain on it in the bathroom. Staff was unfriendly, free internet didn't work and when you call support they were busy never called back. Pillows had stains. Please do not waste your money!!! Stay somewhere else!! more

A nice brisk ten block walk from the convention center landed me at the dowdy Tremont Park, not to be confused with the Tremont Plaza down the street. The experience was like traveling in time back to the fifties based upon the dark decor and outdated fixtures. The faucet leaked in the kitchen and was promptly fixed by maintenance. The... more

My family and I stayed here on the night of Friday, August 17. During this deeply disappointing visit we were double-billed for valet parking service. I have contacted the hotel desk several times, with various results: 1) I was told that this was a normal procedure when using debit cards and that the second charge would be refunded in 7-10... more

Although the staff was very kind, fact is that hot water did not flow from my room or the backup room I was given. After running the marathon I REALLY wanted a hot shower. I won't be back for any price. more

Not the worst hotel I have ever stayed at...but...I took my parents to Baltimore for a short vacation - their room had all sorts of problems - no hot water in the shower, toiletries were not replaced, burn marks in the carpet, window in the shower would not shut despite repeated requests to Maintenance. This hotel needs a major upgrade. more

After reading various reviews about the Tremont Park Hotel, I almost decided to forego my Priceline reservations and book another, more guest-pleasing, hotel. However, everything else was too expensive to book on such short notice so we went through with our stay. First things first, you get what you pay for. Since everything else in the Inner Harbor/Downtown neighborhood was... more

Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to review the Tremont Park! We found your review to be fair and balanced. While the Tremont Park Hotel is certainly not a 4-star hotel, its location and price make it the right choice for many travelers. I certainly found your observations about downtown Baltimore quite observant. The Tremont Park is...

I stayed at the Tremont from August 25 to August 28th. I was originally booked into a penthouse suite but the room was so load- it sounded like there was a train next door- I was moved to another room on a lower floor. The room I was moved to had no hot water. I complained to the front desk... more

I sincerely apologize for the poor experience encountered during your recent stay at the Tremont Park Hotel. During the last weekend of August, we did experience a water problem that impacted both hot and cold water. Because our central air conditioning system relies on cold water delivery, it too was affected. Clearly, we did not yet have a grasp on...

My stay at the Tremont Park Hotel was wonderful. From check-in to check-out. The accomodations were great. The managing staff went out of their way to ensure a great stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and inviting. The Inner Harbor was very nice. Great restaurants and clubs. I must give praise to the hotel restaurants chef, his food was the... more

Thank you for your glowing comments about the accommodations and service you experienced at the Tremont Park Hotel! The "Penthouse" Suite you're referring to is our One Bedroom Suite with a king bed. Each of the rooms within that room type is located on the top floor of the Tremont Park, offering sweeping views of the Baltimore skyline. Our 8...

After reading some of the reviews, I think we must have been staying in a different hotel. This place is wonderful - the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. When I asked the front desk to call a cab service to take me to the train station, they had their free shuttle service take me. The rooms are clean,... more

Thank you for the great comments about the Tremont Park! We do have the ideal location, nestled in between busy St. Paul and Charles Streets. St. Paul Street is Baltimore's premier downtown business address, home to companies that neighbor the Tremont Park such as CitiFinancial, Verizon, and Mercy Hospital. Charles Street is Baltimore's unofficial Main Street and features a variety...

I need to comment on our recent hotel stay at the Tremont Park Hotel in Baltimore. My first comment is I would immediately stop recommending this hotel. First of all it is old and dated and in terrible condition. The sinks were coming off the walls. The bed linens were old and some were ripped. The a/c was not working.... more

Clearly, all aspects of your stay were a major disappointment and we certainly apologize. Please contact Emile Debsia, the General Manager of the Tremont Park, by telephone or letter in order to further follow-up so that we may better respond on a personal level than what I am able to do on Trip Advisor. We certainly agree that the hotel...
