As a Marriott Gold Rewards member, I have stayed at a lot of Renaissance Hotels and love them. This hotel is certainly met my expectations as a hotel and is in a great location (middle of Harborplace) as well. The staff (front desk, club room, restaurant, bell hops) were excellent - were some of the best I have encountered. The... more

First trip to Baltimore. Needed a place to stay close to 1st Mariner Arena as I was there for a concert. Did a lot of research and decided to try Priceline. Got a great deal of $70 per night for Fri/Sat stay. At that rate, the Renaissance Harborplace is perfect, but there is NO WAY I would pay $199/night(which was... more

We can appreciate the frustration of not receiving your requested room type. Please accept the hotels apologies and assurance that the service provided is in no way impacted by the rate paid for the room. The hotel inventory is almost an even split between rooms with one king bed and those with two queen beds. Our goal is to always...

The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel could not be in a better location for business or personal travel. Inner Harbor is right across the street and the boat shuttle to Fell's Point is a two-minute walk from the hotel. There is a mall attached to the hotel--not the greatest shopping but it is quite convenient if you forget something for have... more

I booked this hotel on the Marriott website. Requested double beds and early check-in. In comments section typed "husband birthday=UPGRADE?" since I read other reviews where people got upgrades. WELL...when we checked in, the nice man at the front desk said we were upgraded to a Harborfront Suite. When we opened the 10008 room door, we were met with the... more

Beautifully redecorated since we were last there a year ago in hip art deco. Service requests were responded to immediately. Great location. more

Got this hotel for $75 on Priceline. We well worth the price, but, I would have been disappointed if I had paid the average price, which is about $200 a night. No big complaints, but it was a very average property. The pros: Can't beat the location- adjacent to the Galleria Mall, directly across from Harbor Place. Hotel staff friendly... more

Hotel was fine until we left for breakfast and came back to our car that was parked in the hotel parking lot was broken into. Someone must have been watching us because it was a targeted theft of a laptop bag. Nothing else was stolen including our suitcases and other expensive items. Security is terrible and like another reviewer said... more

Stayed here for a business meeting. Excellent location right opposite the waterfront and a very comfortable hotel (we also went into the Marriott Waterfront, and we all liked the atmosphere, decor and poistion of the Renaissance better). Plenty of shops and restaurants both within the next door gallery, and over the road on the harbourfront. It is a big hotel,... more

We apologize for this unfortunate experience and understand how this could have a negative impact for any traveler. The hotels top priority is the safety and security of our associates and guests. This includes the City owned and operated parking garage attached to the hotel. We are working in full cooperation with Baltimore City authorities to investigate this occurrence and...

This was a "leisure" trip for me and a "business" trip for my spouse. Although we have been frequently to Baltimore, we had never stayed at the Renaissance Harborplace. It was a delightful stay. The room--8115--faced the east (not south to the Harbor, which is an additional fee), but we could see part of the Inner Harbor, but also we... more
