Spent a night here in late June with wife, daughter and several other families with kids to do the whole Baltimore Harbor weekend thing. The great location makes this hotel worth considering. It's within walking distance of the Aquarium, inner harbor shopping district, ESPN sportszone, restaurants and Camden Yards. It has an upscale feel without being overly plush. There is... more

My husband is a Marriott Rewards Platinum member, and we had a free night certificate, so I thought it would be fun to take the kids for one night to see the fireworks on the fourth of July. Got there about 12:30 and valet parked the car. We were blocked into a larger harbor view room - thanks for the... more

Nice hotel, convenient to harbor, great conference rooms; requested & received a room near the elevator with a harbor view. I got a partial harbor view which was wonderful. So gorgeous at night. The elevators numbers and announcement system were not working properly. The automated voice would announce Floor 5 when you were really on Floor 10. The numbers would... more

Stayed 3 nights in this centrally located great hotel across from the Inner Harbor and the Aquarium. The only unusual aspect of the hotel is that some of the rooms are a long walk from the elevator, our's was only 10 rooms away. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, entertainment, water taxi, aquarium, and Camden Yards. The best method to... more

We requested early check in, when we arrived check in was a breeze!! The hotel was so clean and beautiful. And as an extra bonus we were given a room on the 12 floor. The view was soooooooo beautiful, esp at night. All the staff were so nice and helpful, we had valet parking, and used taxi service to get... more

We got there by taxi around 1 pm and our room was ready-no problem checking in early. The hotel smelled wonderful when we walked in (floral or like scented candles?). The room was very large and clean and beautifully decorated. The location is great;easy walking distance to the pier, aquarium, mall, etc. The only problem was the noise. We were... more

Great location. Can't go wrong if you are going to Baltimore as a tourist. The only caveat like everyone else says is the $26 parking. Just add this to your budget so you won't feel bad and you'll be set. Once you park, you probably won't need your car. I guess the construction is over. The rooms are nice and... more

I was very pleased with everything about this trip, except nobody mentioned there is a parking charge to park your car at the hotel. I have never paid to park at a hotel before. Twenty-Six dollars a day can add up when you do a 3 night stay like we did. I asked my gf to merry me at the... more

Stayed for 2 nights at the Renaissance and was pleasantly surprised. Check-in was easy, room was spacious, and our room overlooked the harbor. The only negatives: a naked drunk guy knocked on our door the first night around 1am and when we called the front desk security escorted him back to his room. Thank god!! We also ordered room service... more
