After spending several HOURS reading reviews on various motels/hotels in the area and in my price range. I ran out of time and decided stay here DESPITE all the scary reviews. I'm glad I did. From the outside. It looks kind of dumpy and cheap. HOWEVER I spent my first night in a standard room and decided to splurge on... More

The apartment is veeeeery small, dirty and the towels seem to be used. It is kind of far away from the pier and the good restaurants. In the middle of the night someone was trying to open our door. This is because the place is totally open.

We booked this place because they had "FREE " parking while we were gone on our cruise, instead of parking at the cruise pier parking lot. What a mistake we made!!!! We were even given an up grade to a SUITE..We were afraid to touch anything in the room after seeing a heart shaped whirl-pool in the room and mirrors... More

The owners may really be trying, but this place is an absolute dump. Rooms, beds carpet & towels were dirty. No bulbs in the lamps. I didn't even want to place my suitcases on the floor or furniture, returned them to my car & worried all night that my car would get broken into. Really bad part of town, loud... More

The rooms in those hotel all open into the outdoors. The door to mine was a very poor fit in its frame, leaving a gaping hole for the cold winter's air to come in through. The only source of heat was a small space heater, as far from the bed as possible. There was no source of heat at all... More

I read the reviews before and thought I couldn't be that bad, but it was even worse. We booked two nights in a king size room but ended up staying only one night. The room was totally outdated and had a weird smell. The bed sheets had holes and stains everywhere. We also found different kinds of hair. It looked... More

I booked this room because it was a Rodeway Inn. Rodeway Inns are budget hotels and I always have low expectations but this Rodeway Inn hit a new low. The beds did not have top sheets and there was only one set of towels in the bathroom. The smoke alarm in the hall started beeping because it needed a new... More

We (mistakenly) booked a "suite" without looking at reviews, or knowing the area. The motel-style rooms all have window air conditioners. Prostitutes were visible. Our "suite" was in an old adjacent tenement building. The windows did not lock and the top sashes acted like guillotines. There were hair grease stains on the furniture, hair and stains on the "fresh" sheets.... More

The first indicator that this hotel was the wrong place to be was when the staff told me I had to review the room I booked and then sign a piece of paper saying I was OK with the condition of the room before I could check in. I looked over the room quickly and said what the heck, not... More

I cannot believe that this hotel is in the Choice Hotels group, moreover even OPEN!! Every bad review is correct and more! We stayed in a room that had a very steep set of stairs; no elevator. Check-in was through a glass partition. We had to walk through 2 men that were sitting on each side of the steps drinking... More
