This place has seen its best times decades ago. It is dirty (I had the obligatory blood stains on my towels) and smelly (even with opening both windows fully, I could recognize the smell in the morning). I left the place after one night (and would have done it earlier, if I hadn´t arrived in the middle of the night).... more

The question is not whether this hotel deserves X number of stars, but whether it should be condemned. It is nearly falling down - the floors are all badly caving, window sills are rotting, the walls have holes and are erupting with water damage, and the bathroom piping and surround is badly damaged and barely functional. The hotel is also... more

Biltmore Suites is ok for a quick, overnight stay - especially if you are looking for an inexpensive room in Baltimore. The staff is very accommodating & pleasant, but this charming inn is in dire need of renovation. Overall, the interior decor (both in the common areas and rooms) is old - a "grandma" look and feel with Salvation Army... more

We stayed here as a group attending a friend's wedding. I fell in love with this cute little hotel. It is a truly unique experience. It helped that everyone at the hotel was there for the wedding, but I certainly fell in loooove with this facility. Very cute old fashioned hotel. We had a nice little balcony that we could... more

This hotel is in the beautiful district of Mount Vernon in Baltimore inside a Victorian style building. The area is considered a National Landmark Historic District and it shows. A lot of construction is happening in the area as many older buildings are being renovated, as well as the streets. This hotel however, is a little late in receiving it's... more

My partner and I went to Baltimore for a weekend before a business travel to DC. He was quite familiar to the neighborhood, so it was not a surprise the convenient location of this hotel, 2 or 3 streets from Charles St. and a less than 10usd taxi fare from Penn Station. It is easy to find good places to... more

We booked a room with a queen size bed and got a mini suite instead. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The furniture is old and rotting. The bed was clean but not that comfortable. The door to our patio would not lock. The lighting was not great. The neighborhood is not good. We could hear the ambulances... more

Just want business travelers to know this hotel is not business friendly. I was on a 3 week extended trip and had the possibility of having to stay the night in Baltimore. I booked through my employer travel agency. 8 minutes later we decided to meet in Colorado. I called the hotel directly to cancel. The reservation had not shown... more

My work booked me at the Biltmore Suites Hotel. I was a bit wary after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, but once I walked into my room, my first thought was "it's so cute!" and when I saw the bathroom (clean), my fears were put aside. As other reviewers have put it, if you like the standard sterile hotel room,... more

I really wanted to like the Biltmore Suites, but it didn't live up to its potential for a number of reasons. It seemed like a good alternative to the high-priced, crowded convention hotels around the Inner Harbor, but not quite good enough. My room had a sitting room (with a daybed and TV) and a separate bedroom along with the... more
