My husband and I spent two nights here. To me, this had more of a hotel atmosphere then their other property, Gramercy. It had an elevator which opened the choice of every room for me as I must use a cane. (Most times/places, I have to accept whatever is on the first floor) Our room was lovely. It overlooked the... What a gem! The courtesy and thoughtfulness of the staff is pretty unheard of in this day and age, and made the place very, very special, including a red rose on the bed when we arrived. We had a wonderful home made breakfast the next morning and would highly recommend the Carrollton Inn to all travelers to Baltimore.

The Carollton Inn was a fantastic find! Nestled in a cute, unique area of downtown, yet walkable to all downtown attractions. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were clean and comfortable. High value service, which is difficult to find these days. We are definitely staying here every September when we attend an annual conference. 5 stars!

We had a lovely visit to Inner Harbor and our stay at the 1840's Carrollton Inn was great. The rooms were clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The only downfalls were the temperature of the room was too warm and our room was next to the kitchen so the early morning activity in there was a little disturbing for a... More

Great location - near Little Italy and Fells Point. You feel like you're near it all (which you are), and yet you feel like you're getting away from it all at the same time! The staff is friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in (Estate Room) was lushly decorated and so cozy and made you feel like you were... More

This was our first ever stay at a bed and breakfast and we did so because we wanted more than just a hotel room for a romantic weekend away. This is a lovely inn, really well kept with beautiful furnishings. The staff could not be nicer or more accomodating and our needs were definitely met. We parked our car for... More

Didn't like the location. The noise at night was horrible couldn't sleep at all. Sink was clogged, tub didn't work. Call the front desk, they said they are going to try to fix. They didn't. Mention this at check out. The guy roll up his eyes didn't care. Room service: breakfast was ok, decent coffee. As you can see I... More

Maria Mercedez, As a manager I am disappointed to hear about your experience during your stay at the 1840s Carrollton Inn. Here, we strive to create a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a care-free, relaxing stay. Even though we are located in a very busy city, we do have rooms and suites that are tucked away quietly overlooking our private... More

We've stayed in a number of B&Bs in Balto, and this one is right at the top of our list. The neighborhood is transitional, with newish residential development along with some older shops and businesses. Only a few blocks from Little Italy and its numberless restaurants, it's a slightly longer walk to Harbor East. The place shares a lovely courtyard... More

The Carrollton Inn is perfectly located for access to the harbor area with shops and restaurants and close to transportation. The Charm City Circulator is a free local bus that stops across the street and accesses many of the areas that visitors might want to see. The Inn is old and elegant but the staff is young and helpful. The... More

This was our first stay at a Bed & Breakfast and we were a little worried we wouldn't like it. It turned out to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at!!! We stayed in "The Scholar's Room" and it was gorgeous and very clean. We loved the décor. The chocolates with a fresh rose on the... More
