Overall, our stay at the 1840s Carrollton Inn was relaxing and pleasant. The accommodations are top-notch, and the prices are appropriate for the accommodations. The room was absolutely spectacular, as was the lobby and the dining area. Breakfast was served on time, and it was done perfectly. The courtyard is amazing, and the location cannot be beat. If there is... More

The 1840s Carrollton Inn is in the Little Italy area of Baltimore. It is convenient to get to the Orioles st Camden Yards and the Inner Harbor area with all the tourist attractions and many good restaurants. The Carrollton is in a dense residential area of row houses and narrow streets. The front door is electronically protected and opens directly... More

My husband and I picked the Carrollton because of its proximity to the Inner Harbor, since we would only be in Baltimore for a day and a half. The Inn is within walking distance to the harbor and also the restaurants of Little Italy. The room was charming and comfortable except for the noise level from the traffic, very busy... More

The staff was friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. Check-in was effortless. Breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. Fast wifi. An easy walk to Fells Point and the harbor.

My husband and I had stayed at the Inn last winter and loved it, so we came back for a 2nd time this winter. We loved the room, which was beautiful and clean! The location is also fabulous. The Inn has so much charm, and is definitely romantic. We booked a food tour of Fells Point through the Inn, at... More

My wife and I had planned a date night out and wanted to spend the evening enjoying downtown Baltimore, our top choice was the 1840s Carrollton Inn. We were married at the ballroom and always enjoy the exquisite rooms and excellent customer service.

My husband and I stayed over the weekend of March 13-15th 2015. We have a friend who's band was playing at Rams Head in Power Plant. We were also visiting dear old friends that live in the area. This was our first time at a B&B. Coming from almost 20 years in the Hospitality Management field, I've always stayed at... More

Great location near the Inner Harbor. Friendly and responsive staff. We stayed in Room 303 - Estate Room -- I would recommend picking another room if you need absolute peace and quiet, as this room overlooks East Lombard street and has traffic at all hours of the day and night (to be somewhat expected with a city location, but it... We LOVED our stay here!!! It was so romantic and quiet, and beautifully decorated! When we arrived, we had a LOT of luggage. We were supposed to be in a room a few floors up, but when the people at the front desk saw us with all of our bags, they upgraded us to a first floor, much bigger room.... More

Our guests are extremely important to us at 1840s Carrollton Inn, and as your experienced, we will accommodate and apply upgrades if possible! The suite sounds like it provided a luxurious treat for you and your fiancee to enjoy! We apologize that the pillows were too fluffy and that they made sleeping uncomfortable. Your next stay, please let us know... More
