Stayed in the Congressional room with my girlfriend for a night. Room was beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly and gave recommendations for dinner. Short walk to Little Italy, Fells Point, Inner Harbor, and Camden Yards. Breakfast was awesome. Tons of choices. If we ever visit Baltimore again, we'd 100% stay here again.

Admittedly, our stay was brief and probably not the norm for this fine little Inn- my wife was having rotator cuff surgery at 5am just up the street at Johns Hopkins Hospital. We decided that it would be fun to grab a hotel room with a jacuzzi the night before so that we could avoid a very early drive in... More

I stayed here for the weekend for a birthday party. It was a last minute resort, and they happened to have a suite available-- I took it without hesitating. I'm so glad I did, the suite was amazing- clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. Breakfast was great too, we practically had a buffet. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely... My wife and I just arrived home from this past weekend at the 1840s Carrollton Inn. The place was amazing and the location was everything we could have wanted. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The food...just as advertised. The staff members were very hospitable and accommodating. We also enjoyed time out in the courtyard sitting down and... More

I surprised my wife with this bed & breakfast for our 8th anniversary. The suite was simply wonderful, the jacuzzi was great, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were out of this world! My wife and I will be coming back again and again!

We were welcomed at the door and led to our beautiful room. The jacuzzi was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, and served in our room. The parking garage was close and less than half the price of a day of parking normally. We were just a short walk from the Steak House, so no... More

My daughter got us a weekend at the Inn for our 37th anniversary. She must have found it online as none of us had ever heard of it before. When you first approach the Inn the neighborhood looks a little sketchy but don't worry - at the sight of the awning, you have stepped back in time to a lovely... More

Because of a last minute problem with another reservation I ended up digging out this gem very last minute. I saw the website called and booked the only room they had left. I was a little nervous about the area because I'm just not very familiar with downtown, but our room was amazing. The woman that assisted us was pleasant... More

Despite the proximity to HarborPlace, Shot Tower, and other tourist attractions, the 1840 Carrollton Inn is worth a trip in its own right. Our room was beautiful, romantic and clean, with a wonderful view of the courtyard. The staff is extremely helpful and charming. We definitely will be back!
