We have stayed in countless bed and breakfasts over the years, but few if any have ever gotten it right like the 1840's Carrollton Inn. Perfectly located within walking distance of the Inner Harbor and Little Italy, the Inn is beautifully decorated on the inside. Our room was gorgeous! The dinning room was handsome, but we particularly enjoyed eating our... more

My fiance and I traveled to Baltimore for a romantic night alone. When we pulled up we did not expect what we were in store for once we walked inside. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the room exceptional. As if the entire hotel was not breathtaking enough, I was greeted with a beautiful rose and chocolates on my pillow.... more

This was a big surprise for us native Baltimoreons. We like to experience Bed and Breakfasts in other states so you can imagine our surprise to find one so tastfully decorated in the city. The staff were wonderful and we felt like tourist in our own back yard. We toured the entire facility and as soon as we returned to... more

We came to to the Inn for a wedding which was held in their courtyard, staying two nights. The Inn is conveniently located within a few minutes walk of the inner harbor, and little Italy where good food abounds. Our room was maahvalous, king 4 poster bed, fireplace, whirlpool tub, with small touches and ammenities which complimented the ambiance. Staff is... more

The location was great, about 4 blocks to the waterfront. Felt very safe in the area around the Inn, even walking to diner at night. Parking was a block away in... more

The people who have opened this inn should be applauded on the job they've done rehabbing the property...the marble bathrooms are great, the towels are fluffy and the rooms are done up in four-poster beds, velvet drapes, etc in an over-the-top, romantic style. (It's not remotely in keeping with the property's era, but hey...it's fine.) However, sleeping here is like... more

We spent two luxurious days and nights at the 1840s Carrollton Inn. Not only was it in walking distance of the Baltimore Harbor and part of the Heritage Walk walking tour but it was luxury in every way! We stayed in the Annapolis Suite and were treated to elegant antique furnishings, a beautiful atmosphere complete with fireplace, flat screen tv... more
