We had tickets to the symphony and at the last minute decided to try this B&B right across the street. We are locals and thought that it would be nice. To start with the window shade where brittle, cracked and on a few windows torn and jagged. There was a defunct window ac and a box fan along with a... More

Some time back we spent a night there. The place was dirty, the curtains fell off the wall when we tried to open, there was no heat so they gave us a small space heater, wall switches were broken, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the shower was full of hair. All of this on top of the fact there... More

My wife and I needed a break and decided to visit my home town for the weekend. We stayed here since it wasn't too far from the Inner Harbor, and close to our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. After driving through all of that rush hour traffic, we made it here just after sunset. We were kind of exhausted, but... More

I saw some of the reviews and was reluctant to stay here. However, I decided to give it a shot because they have free parking. Parking in Baltimore can be 20 per night and up. It is in a nice and safe area. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It was immaculately clean, the air was apple scented and... More

My daughter graduated in May from MICA and I have been a frequent user of this Inn for the past 4 years. The new owner Todd took over in March and there are significant improvements from prior visits. He is accessible 24/7 by phone when he's not in the Inn and promptly handled any problems that arose. The breakfast was... More

This bed and breakfast was disappointing in several ways. Location was on a main drag, and was somewhat noisy at night. The walls were scuffed, the halls and stairway dingy. Room was drab, with industrial carpeting, cheap furnishings and poor sheets. Chipped paint, poor lighting. Help was minimal. Dirty basket in bathroom for toiletries. Breakfast was minimal to say the... More

The abacrombie fine food and restaurant might not be a luxury hotel, but is located in Baltimore’s cultural spot. I have to agree with some of the reviews already on Tripadvisor about the lack of room maintenance and the cheap included breakfasts, but if you want to stay at a superb location close to Baltimore’s downtown, the abacrombie is the... I came to Baltimore with my husband for a job interview, and made last minute reservations at the Abercrombie. We took a cab from the airport and arrived here around late in the afternoon. We ran into a bunch of frantic patrons rushing around the restaurant's corner, like some concert or event was going on nearby. After getting into the... More

In June 2010 my wife and I spent a week in Baltimore visiting our son. We stayed at the Abacrombie and enjoyed it immensely. The Abacrombie is located less than a mile from where our son lives, it is also walking distance to the main train station and across the street from the symphony hall, so the location was perfect.... Abacrombie was a lifesaver. My college (MICA) finished its semester and i was stuck in Baltimore with no accommodations whatsoever. Abacrombie was at an extremely considerate location- i could commute to MICA if needed, there were an extremely large amount of restaurants in walking distance and the train station was maybe 10 minutes away. the rooms were exceedingly comfortable and...
