I saw some of the reviews and was reluctant to stay here. However, I decided to give it a shot because they have free parking. Parking in Baltimore can be 20 per night and up. It is in a nice and safe area. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It was immaculately clean, the air was apple scented and... More

My daughter graduated in May from MICA and I have been a frequent user of this Inn for the past 4 years. The new owner Todd took over in March and there are significant improvements from prior visits. He is accessible 24/7 by phone when he's not in the Inn and promptly handled any problems that arose. The breakfast was... More

This bed and breakfast was disappointing in several ways. Location was on a main drag, and was somewhat noisy at night. The walls were scuffed, the halls and stairway dingy. Room was drab, with industrial carpeting, cheap furnishings and poor sheets. Chipped paint, poor lighting. Help was minimal. Dirty basket in bathroom for toiletries. Breakfast was minimal to say the... More

The abacrombie fine food and restaurant might not be a luxury hotel, but is located in Baltimore’s cultural spot. I have to agree with some of the reviews already on Tripadvisor about the lack of room maintenance and the cheap included breakfasts, but if you want to stay at a superb location close to Baltimore’s downtown, the abacrombie is the... I came to Baltimore with my husband for a job interview, and made last minute reservations at the Abercrombie. We took a cab from the airport and arrived here around late in the afternoon. We ran into a bunch of frantic patrons rushing around the restaurant's corner, like some concert or event was going on nearby. After getting into the... More

In June 2010 my wife and I spent a week in Baltimore visiting our son. We stayed at the Abacrombie and enjoyed it immensely. The Abacrombie is located less than a mile from where our son lives, it is also walking distance to the main train station and across the street from the symphony hall, so the location was perfect.... Abacrombie was a lifesaver. My college (MICA) finished its semester and i was stuck in Baltimore with no accommodations whatsoever. Abacrombie was at an extremely considerate location- i could commute to MICA if needed, there were an extremely large amount of restaurants in walking distance and the train station was maybe 10 minutes away. the rooms were exceedingly comfortable and... We had the misfortune of staying at this B&B for four nights. Our reservation was made for us by my brother who lives nearby and last put up a guest there seven years ago. He assured us that it was "charming" when he last visited (seven years ago). We were greeted by a young man (who rapidly disappeared thereafter) with... More

I really quite enjoyed my stay here. Nice room, nice air/con, decent location. The proprietor was very polite and friendly when I spoke to her, as was the cleaning lady. The breakfast was as good as any I have had. If you are looking for a decadent, all-frills honeymoon location, this is probably not for you. If you are a... More

I saw the website for this B & B and the pictures of the rooms were very impressive. I wished I had check the reviews before I booked the room. I paid $175 including tax for one night and stayed on the 4th floor. The room looked nothing like the picture on the website. There was no personnel service at... More
