We had to go to Baltimore for a Wedding, at the Cloisters, North of the City and were unfamiliar with the area or the Hotels as neither of us had ever visited this city. Fortunately, we discovered the Wilson House, directly in-between the Airport, the Cloisters, and close by the Baltimore Art Museum at the Johns Hopkins Campus, which we... more

We stayed a week at the Wilson House. We had a lovely room with a great bed. The rest of the house is a piece of history. The breakfasts are elegantly served and delicious. What a great place to visit. more

Baltimore is one of those American cities where you can go from a "Safe" to a dodgy area in little more than one block. Downtown is very commercial and up to date but you can soon stray into spaces you would prefer not to be in. Wilson House is in an area of predominantly 19th Century properties which have been... more

This Bed and Breakfast was beatiful! Our hosts, the Thomas's, were fantastic. Guy the historian, about the military, Baltimore, and restorer extaordinaire.....and Claylia a fastastic cook, and incredible house keeper...... offered lots of info about the house, and her home country of Peru. My husband and friends greatly enjoyed our two nite stay. Not far from downtown, in a very... more

Just spent the weekend at the Wilson House and had a fabulous experience! The rooms & bathroom were so clean and well appointed. The owners were very friendly and helpful with our numerous questions and need for directions! The 2 breakfasts we had were definitely gourmet..delicious. The wine & cheese in the evening was a nice perk as well.It is within... more

For more than 25 years, we have stayed in many bed and breakfasts/inns, and this ranks among one of the worst! This old victorian home is in a sketchy neighborhood of Baltimore, off a very busy highway cloverleaf, is shabbily decorated, full of clutter, and is in need of many a repair. The innkeepers (who appear to occupy the home)... more

We tried lots of Baltimore hotels and found them noisy and uneven. The Wilson House is quiet, homey and friendly. Checking in takes just a second. It's convenient to the train station and MICA and the Baltimore Symphony, and the proprietors are helpful and knowledgeable without being obtrusive. We love the Wilson House: it's where we stay whenever we visit... more

My wife and I stayed at the Wilson House because it was reasonably priced. It is a great old house with a lot of history. The rooms were nice but not spectacular but the bed was comfortable. I asked if they had wireless internet and they assured me that they did but it required a password which the host did... more

Odd review in view of the fact we spent 45 minutes with them going over and describing in great detail the 3 antique shopping areas in Baltimore, how to get there on public transportation, and the advantages of each area. They made the choice as to which one to visit in their limited time availability. We also fully understood they...
