The Mount Vernon has a lot of potential, and I'm sure it was great about 30 years ago. The building has a lot of historic architectural elements. But it has not aged well recently. Stayed at the hotel not long ago and had a wonderful time. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The breakfast in the morning was great! My two kids loved making their own waffles in the morning. The room was clean and a great value. We had a great time and will stay here again! more
