FIRST LET ME SAY THE INN AT THE BLACK OLIVE IS AMAZING!! The staff is courteous, kind, and willing to go above and beyond. We were in Baltimore to celebrate my sons 15th birthday this past week. We stayed Monday, August 18th and checked out on Wednesday the 20th. From the moment we arrived we were catered to and treated... More

We stayed overnight for our anniversary and the suite was huge and roomy and had everything we wanted or needed. A refrigerator, a coffeemaker, DELICIOUS coffee (I forgot to ask what kind that was, but I will, as I need to buy some!). The bathroom had a wonderful huge shower and a jetted tub that I enjoyed while drinking a... More

Huge rooms, natural fibers and finishings, oriental carpets on the floors which was nice. As mentioned by other posters they are promoting the "eco" friendly lifestyle and so it's like a hippie hotel, in a good way, fair trade items all over the place. The hvac is climate controlled and so no way to blast the a/c as some like... More

We were especially disappointed because this hotel was number one on Trip Advisor. The hotel staff was nice, friendly, and tried hard to be accommodating. The hotel is very hip and cool. The room was very spacious with high ceilings. The hotel tries hard to promote environmental practices. Fell's Point is the best location in Baltimore for good restaurants and... More

Conveniently located a few blocks from the heart of Fells Point's restaurants and bars, The Black Olive offers apartment size rooms. The air conditioning was the only annoyance, as I had to call the desk to have it turned on, then it blasted loudly in cycles throughout the night. Also, the view is, for now, a construction site. The service... More

My husband and I love Fell's Point. We stayed at the Inn at Black Olive at the end of June in a corner king. The room was huge, had a comfy bed, huge tub and a surprisingly good shower/bath products. The location was great, right in the middle of everything. We do not particularly look for eco-friendly rooms, but this... More

Drove up to this cute hotel that was stationed next to a market-type lunch restaurant. Was immediately impressed by the number of organic and healthy meal choices including green juices. Checked into a gigantic suite-style room, which included a jaccuzzi tub and a bottle of wine. We were immediately impressed by the thought that was put into setting up the... More

After reviewing a lot of reviews on Tripadvisor and other review sites, I decided on the Inn at The Black Olive for my 1 year wedding anniversary. I like the idea of individual suites, location, etc. However, after several phone calls with the Inn on extra items (flowers, chocolate covered strawberries) I was hoping for an extra personal touch especially... I stayed at the Inn at The Black Olive for two nights, May 30 and 31, 2014. The cost for the 2-night stay in the suite was $563.65. I expected an excellent hotel experience for that price and I did not have one. First, I called the day before to inquire as to whether or not I might check-in early.... More
