I probably said it all in my title. We stayed overnight here on our way to DC. They only had the "Smoking Floor" available. (I didn't even know there was still such a thing.) Needless to say, the floor and room smelled disgusting. . . There is a night guard on duty as the neighborhood is so bad. The staff... more

We stayed here for 2 nights. After flying in to BWI from MAN via PHL. It was not the easiest hotel to find and the car rental company did not have directions for it so had to make do with our google maps. The area where the hotel is, is not brilliant the roads are poorly signposted and we drove... more

Beware of the review from "LincolnVet", he/she did not write about this hotel in the Rosedale/Golden Ring area. There are no airports, nor "newer houses and other hotels." Most likely that reviewer was writing about the La Quinta on Dorsey Road near the BWI Airport. That said, this hotel IS in a bad area, and is the sole reason for... more

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Seems a couple YEARS after bad reviews were left the La Quinta cleaned up they're act. The hotel is NOT in a bad area. Other hotels, newer homes and airport parking are next to it. The other hotels in the area were about $30 more per night so we got a bargain. If you want to... more

The hotel itself was Okay at best. Fairly clean and somewhat pleasant staff. Booked two rooms through Priceline and then called the hotel to ask that the rooms were close to each other or at least on the same floor. I was told that there is only one room per floor that it designated as 'Priceline rooms' . Therefore, the... more

First of all, I received the discount offered by the hotel to Johns Hopkins patients, which helped substantially. I only wish I'd known about it before I stayed four nights in Baltimore two weeks ago; I could have saved about $200! Yes, it was difficult to find the entrance to the parking lot, and yes, it was necessary to locate... more

Our stay at the Fairfield Inn North Baltimore was ruined by a harrowing experience upon arrival. As we approached the hotel around 10:00 p.m., we saw the very tall Fairfield sign in the distance. As we approached the sign, we discovered that there was no driveway to enter there. We had missed the narrow, unlighted, and unmarked driveway some distance... more

After reading some of these reviews, I was expecting to find a horrible, run down, dirty motel. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't see any evidence of the homeless or the drug rehab. The rooms were clean, breakfast decent, the staff was helpful. Even on a busy weekend morning with one elevator, we never waited all that long. It was... more

Hotel is next to a drug rehab halfway house with a Section 8 apartment complex behind it. Need I say more? Once was a Susse Chalet hotel, part of a chain of very well-managed hotels. Not any more. more

I would not say it was the worst hotel that I ever stayed at but it was definitely not the best. I agree with the one reviewer, it was not a great neigborhood, but better then inner Baltimore itself. Baltimore is a scary scary place. Make sure you have good directions when traveling around. The hotel was okay. The toilet... more
