You remember the roach motel commercial where they check in but they don't check out? We'll I'm pretty sure that even the roaches would take one look at this place and not even walk through the front door! As soon as we walked into our room, My wife and I immediately looked at one another, picked up our bags and... More

I booked this hotel through Hotwire and after the fact read the reviews and was really quite scared of the possibilities from reading what people had to say. I even almost considered not staying and forfeiting the costs. I went so far as to ask someone to go look at it (and they didn't comfort me). But I thought, it's... More

We got a room here to be able to stay in the city for the night after going to the Inner Harbor and Power Plant Live. It was nice that it was walking distance accessible to those places. Very dated, but still seemed OK cleanliness and offered free breakfast.

The only perk I could give this hotel is the location. Downtown and close to everywhere that I needed to go. Staff was rude and didn't seem to know anything about the area (restaurants). There was no toilet paper when we got in the room, tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. They were very stingy... More

We stayed here earlier this year for the Preakness. 4 guys in their late 20s-30s crammed into a room here. Booked the room off of Hotwire for $56 a night but had no idea what hotel we would end up staying at. When we paid and found out the hotel, we read the reviews and prepared for the worst. Again,... Stayed overnight prior to a cruise as it seemed close to the port. GPS directions are much more difficult from the hotel to the port than they need be, but I digress. There is no real drop off for passengers/luggage as there is an active bus stop at the entrance. The lobby is quite small and doors narrow for large... More

ok staff, near lots of stuff. small room, but it got the job done. I got about what I expected for the price, but I'd suggest if corporate owned they need to take over...perhaps the $20 more for the Radisson value brand would've been a better move

Well after I stayed for a night it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There is a lot of bummy people that hang around the entrance outside all day and night, and I would not walk alone at night around the area. It is very close to the inner harbor and you can tell the owners of... More

Doors that wouldn't lock, then in the 2nd room neon lights that wouldn't turn off, elevator felt unsafe, but they had inaccessible staircases. Looked like there was prostitution going on. I had 2 nights reserved and didn't even make it 6 hours before leaving and getting a room elsewhere. The pits. Attempted refund, but clerk didn't note when I left.

The Envy Hotel is not to be envied; it is the worse hotel in the world. The people at the front desk either can’t understand or speak English or cannot use the computer. The room doors are unsecured, the stand-up shower area are too small for adults, the towels are thin rags, the coffee is colored water but complimentary. I... More
